URPOWER SC1023 Hard Bottom Dog Car Seat Cover, Waterproof Back Seat Extender

For a drive to the vet, a park visit or a longer road trip, the URPOWER SC1023 turns the back seat into a more continuous space for your dog. Its hard bottom extends the seating area, providing 45% more space and supporting up to 400 lbs, so your pet has room to move around or lie down during the ride.

Waterproof 600D Oxford cloth helps shield the back seat from spills, dirt, scratches and pet hair. Zippered side flaps also cover the doors and help keep your dog from falling into the footwell.

What to know

Designed for the rear seats of sedans and SUVs, this cover has a universal fit with adjustable straps and seat anchors. The hard bottom measures 51" L x 23.6" W, measuring your back-seat space before ordering helps you assess the fit. The listed vehicle types include compact and midsize sedans, as well as compact, midsize and full-size SUVs.

A mesh window lets your dog see you and supports air circulation through the cover. There’s also a built-in pocket for items such as toys, treats or other pet essentials. The non-slip design and scratch-resistant, waterproof surface make it suited to everyday pet travel, from quick local trips to outings that call for more time in the car. One seat belt is included with the cover.

Cleaning & care

For routine cleanup, wipe the waterproof surface clean. When deeper cleaning is needed, the thickened honeycomb boards can be detached. Integrated straps for the door protection keep those parts connected to the cover, making the setup easier to manage when installing or removing it.

Everyday use

The hard base creates a broader area for a dog to settle into, rather than leaving the back seat as a narrow hammock-style space. That added room is useful when a pet changes position during a ride, while the side flaps extend coverage across the seat edges and doors. On a trip to the park or a vet appointment, the mesh window keeps a line of sight between dog and driver, and the pocket gives small pet supplies a place within reach.

Compared with a simple seat protector that covers only the upholstery, this extender adds a firm bottom and side coverage as part of the travel setup. It suits drivers who want both a protected rear seat and a more open area for their dog. For the intended fit, measure the back seat against the hard-bottom dimensions and use the adjustable straps and seat anchors to secure the cover in the vehicle.
