Hill's Science Diet 10440 Sensitive Stomach & Skin Small & Mini Adult Dry Dog Food, Chicken, 6.8 kg

The 6.8 kg bag contains dry chicken-recipe food for adult small and mini dogs. Its highly digestible formula includes prebiotic fibre to support digestive health. Vitamin E and omega-3 and 6 fatty acids help nourish skin and maintain a healthy coat. It brings digestive, skin and immune-system support together in an everyday adult food.

Key features

For dogs prone to occasional digestive upset, prebiotic fibre helps support a balanced gut microbiome and nutrient absorption. That makes this formula a focused alternative to a general adult dry food when digestive comfort is a priority. Its chicken recipe also includes barley, vitamins, minerals and amino acids as part of complete and balanced nutrition for adult dogs.

Skin and coat care is built into the formula, too: vitamin E and omega-3 and 6 fatty acids help nourish the skin and support a lustrous coat. Clinically proven antioxidants, including vitamins C and E, support a healthy immune system. The food provides 27 key nutrients, bringing several everyday nutritional needs into one meal. It is formulated for small and mini adult breeds, so the intended life stage and breed size are clear when choosing a food for your dog.

Care & maintenance

Keep the dry food in a cool, dry place, below 100°F (38°C). Use the feeding guide on the bag to help determine an appropriate portion, then monitor your dog’s body condition and adjust the amount as needed. These simple steps make it easier to serve a consistent meal while keeping feeding aligned with your dog’s needs.

Everyday use

This food is designed for regular meals for adult small and mini dogs, particularly those with sensitive stomachs and skin. For example, it can be the daily option for a small adult dog whose owner wants a formula that supports digestion while also addressing skin and coat nutrition. The dry format suits routine portioning, and the 6.8 kg bag provides a practical supply for day-to-day feeding.

Owners often speak positively about the taste and report that the food works well for digestive concerns. Feedback on palatability and individual sensitivity is mixed, so dogs can respond differently. The formula’s intended use remains specific: adult dogs, with a focus on small and mini breeds and digestive and skin support.
