Spaceink 774 664 Compatible Ink Refill Bottles, 5-Pack, Black and CMY

For higher-volume printing at home or in an office, this Spaceink set combines black ink with cyan, magenta and yellow refills. It is intended for compatible refillable printers, rather than for use as a cartridge replacement.

The pack contains two 140 ml black bottles and one 70 ml bottle of each colour. That mix is useful if black is the ink you use most, while still keeping the three listed colours on hand.

Would the stated yield suit your printing habits? Treat it as an estimate: the detailed listing bases its figures on 5% coverage on A4 paper, and its general specification gives a different page-yield figure.

Key features

The detailed yield figures are up to 16,000 pages per black bottle and up to 8,000 pages per cyan, magenta or yellow bottle, based on the stated coverage conditions. The product’s general specifications also list a 12,000-page yield without explaining how that figure relates to the individual bottle estimates. These numbers are therefore best read as estimates, not as a guaranteed number of pages for every job. Pages with more ink coverage may use more ink than the stated basis.

Compatibility is the main buying check. The listing names ET-2650, ET-2550, ET-3600, ET-4500, ET-4550, ET-16500, ET-2500, ET-2600 and ET-14000 printers, as well as L1300, L200, L220, L300, L310, L350, L365, L455 and L565. Match your exact printer model against that list before choosing the refill, a similar model name alone does not confirm compatibility.

The ink is described as water-based. The listing also claims fast drying, bright colour and resistance to smudging, fading and clogging. Those are product claims, rather than a guarantee of results across every printer or type of print job. Buyers’ comments are generally positive about print quality and compatibility, with some noting vivid colours and dark black ink. That feedback may help set expectations, but it does not replace checking your printer model or the stated yield conditions.

How to use it

Use the bottles as refills only for a printer included in the compatibility list. Before buying, check the printer’s full model designation and the required ink numbers, this set is labelled for 774/664-compatible use. It contains black, cyan, magenta and yellow, with black supplied in a double quantity. If you mainly print text, that extra black bottle may be practical. If your printing needs centre on one colour, a set with the exact colour and quantity you need could be a closer fit.

Getting the most from it

This pack makes most sense when you need both black and colour refills, rather than a single colour, and expect regular printing at home or in a small office. For example, it can supply black for paperwork alongside the three colours for image or colour-document printing. The listed yield figures can help with planning, but actual use depends on coverage, so a page filled with graphics should not be expected to use ink at the same rate as a lightly printed page.

A solid pick if your printer is explicitly listed and you want a combined refill set with two black bottles. It’s not for you if your printer model is absent from the compatibility list or you need a different ink number. Buyers’ positive remarks about colour and print quality are encouraging, but the available product information does not establish performance for every printer or print style.

Is it worth it?

Consider it when the model match is clear and the two-black, three-colour mix fits your routine. Compared with sourcing colours individually, this set brings all four listed ink colours together and provides more black than any one colour. If you print only occasionally, use just one colour, or need a confirmed page count for a specific workload, the pack’s yield estimates and general 12,000-page specification leave some uncertainty to weigh before choosing.
