E-Z Ink compatible ink cartridges LC103XL

Key specifications

Running low on black and colour ink at the same time can mean juggling separate replacements. This E-Z Ink LC103XL-compatible set groups black, cyan, magenta and yellow cartridges together, so it can suit a Brother printer that uses the listed LC103 or LC101 cartridge family.

It’s a bulk replacement set, not a single cartridge for topping up one colour. The stated yield is 600 pages per black cartridge and 600 pages per colour cartridge, based on 5% coverage, actual page counts depend on how much ink your documents use.

The pack contains 10 cartridges in total: four black and two of each colour. Compatibility is listed for a range of Brother MFC and DCP printers, including the MFC-J450DW, MFC-J470DW, MFC-J870DW, MFC-J6520DW and MFC-J6920DW. The cartridge family alone isn’t enough to confirm fit, so match your exact printer model to the compatibility list before choosing this set.

Who it’s for

This set is aimed at owners of a listed Brother printer who want several replacements on hand rather than buying only the colour that has run out. It may be practical for regular home or small-office printing: for example, keeping black text documents moving while still having colour available for a chart or a school handout. The mix includes more black cartridges than any individual colour, which may be useful if your printing leans heavily on text.

Te encaja si you own a compatible model and prefer a multi-cartridge supply. No te encajará si your printer isn’t on the compatibility list, or you only need one replacement and would rather not buy a larger set. That’s the main trade-off compared with purchasing cartridges individually: more spares in one pack, but less flexibility if only one colour is depleted.

Contents of the package

There are four LC103BK black cartridges, two LC103C cyan cartridges, two LC103M magenta cartridges and two LC103Y yellow cartridges, plus one user guide. Together, that makes 10 cartridges. The listed contents don’t include a printer or other printing supplies, so this is a replacement-ink purchase rather than a complete printing setup.

The yield figures are estimates stated at 5% coverage, not a promise of the same number of pages for every job. A page with dense graphics or large areas of colour uses ink differently from a mostly blank page with a few lines of text. If predictable output is essential, that stated coverage assumption is worth factoring into your choice.

Before you decide

Does this set include all four ink colours? Yes. It includes black, cyan, magenta and yellow, with four black cartridges and two of each colour.

How many pages does each cartridge claim to print? The listing states 600 pages per black cartridge and 600 pages per colour cartridge at 5% coverage. Your results can vary with the content you print.

Will it fit any Brother printer? No. Compatibility is specified for selected MFC and DCP models, including the MFC-J245, MFC-J285DW, DCP-J132W and DCP-J752DW. Confirm your exact model is among the listed printers before ordering.

Final verdict

Choose this E-Z Ink set when your printer is on the compatibility list and you want a stock of black and colour replacements in one purchase. The four-black, two-per-colour split has a clear text-printing emphasis, while the stated 5% coverage makes the yield a reference point rather than a guarantee for image-heavy work. If you only need one colour, or your printer model isn’t listed, a smaller or specifically matched replacement purchase is the more sensible route.
