Everyday use
For a home-office setup, the cable’s 6.6 ft length can help keep the laptop connected while leaving more flexibility in where you work. The adapter’s foldable plug makes it easier to stow after use, and the compact charger-and-cable approach can suit a daily routine that moves between a desk, shared workspace and bag.
Customers describe the adapter as working well with MacBook Air and appreciate its charging speed, stable operation and solid feel. These impressions can help inform a purchase, while the model compatibility and charging requirements of your own device remain the practical details to match.
Practical tips
Before connecting, match the laptop’s charging connection and model to the compatibility information. The A87’s USB-C adapter is paired with a USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable, so it serves MacBooks that use that magnetic charging connection. For other devices, use a compatible USB-C charging connection. The adapter is corded electric and has a North American Type A, two-pin plug.
How much flexibility does the setup offer beyond charging a MacBook? Its USB-C power delivery is also described as suitable for compatible laptops, tablets and cell phones, giving the adapter a role in a mixed-device charging routine. For laptop use, its 70W maximum output is the key specification to compare with the device’s charging needs.
