UGREEN Nexode Air X840 45W USB-C Charger, GaN, Compact with Foldable Plug

Some charging setups need to power several devices at once, others call for a compact adapter that can move easily between a desk, bedside outlet and travel bag. The UGREEN Nexode Air 45W is built for the second kind of routine, with one USB-C port and a foldable plug.

Its GaN design delivers up to 45W for compatible phones, tablets and thin-and-light laptops. Support for PD, PPS and QC charging protocols adds flexibility across compatible devices.

The small grey housing measures 30.7 × 30.7 × 36.1 mm, and the prongs fold in for easier packing and storage. That makes it convenient to keep on hand for everyday charging or a trip.

The essentials

This is a single-device wall charger with up to 45W of USB-C power. The output can serve compatible phones and tablets as well as thin-and-light laptops, so one compact adapter can cover more than a phone-charging spot. Its listed compatible devices include a range of iPhone, Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel models, along with cameras, headphones and smartwatches. Charging speed depends on the device and its charging requirements, the adapter supports PD, PPS and QC.

The foldable 90° prongs help keep the charger compact when packed, while the small form factor can be handy around crowded outlets or narrow spaces by a bedside table. A practical travel scenario is packing it with a compatible USB-C cable to charge a phone or another supported device from a wall outlet. The USB-C port is for one connected device at a time, making this a focused alternative to a multi-port charger when a compact single-device setup is what you need.

How to look after it

The casing is made from polycarbonate with a matte finish designed to resist fingerprints and grease. This helps the grey surface stay tidier through regular handling and reduces the need for frequent wiping compared with a glossy finish. When it needs a clean, a gentle wipe is a straightforward way to care for the exterior. Folding the prongs in before storing the adapter also keeps its shape compact in a bag or drawer.

How to use it

Plug the adapter into a suitable wall outlet, then connect a compatible USB-C charging cable and device. For the intended fast-charging experience, the connected device and cable need to support the relevant charging requirements, the charger offers PD, PPS and QC protocols and up to 45W. Its Type A, two-pin plug suits North American-style outlets. The compact body and fold-in prongs make it easy to move between a home charging spot and a travel kit.

Is it worth it?

The Nexode Air makes sense when portability and a useful level of USB-C power matter more than charging several devices from one block. It combines up to 45W output, a compact build and foldable prongs in a charger suited to compatible phones, tablets and thin-and-light laptops. Buyers frequently praise its small size and charging speed, while feedback about how warm it gets during use is mixed.

Choose it for a streamlined everyday setup or as a compact travel adapter for one supported device at a time. Its single USB-C port, broad protocol support and foldable design bring practical charging power into a small space.
