UGREEN X766 200W 8-Port GaN Desktop Charger, 6 USB-C and 2 USB-A
Product description
Six USB-C ports and two USB-A ports bring everyday charging together at one desk, helping keep a laptop, phone and other devices powered from a single station. The UGREEN X766 delivers up to 200W total output, with up to 100W from a single port. It suits a setup that needs to handle laptops as well as smaller devices, rather than a charger meant only for phones.
What stands out
The eight-port layout is designed for charging up to eight devices at the same time. Connect compatible laptops, tablets and cell phones alongside devices such as smartwatches or cameras, and keep their charging cables centred around one desktop hub. That can make a shared workspace or home charging area easier to organize than using several separate wall chargers.
GaN technology supports the charger’s compact desktop design, while the included 6 ft extension cord gives you flexibility in where you position it. Use the USB-C ports for compatible laptops and newer devices, and the USB-A ports for accessories that use that connector. For a laptop that can accept up to 100W USB-C charging, the single-port maximum gives you a clear way to match the charger to that device, the total output is shared across the charging station’s overall use.
Highlights
With up to 200W of total output, the X766 is built for a desk where more than one device needs power at once. Its listed compatibility includes MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, XPS laptops, iPad Pro, iPhone models, Galaxy phones and Pixel devices. The range makes it practical for a mixed-device setup, such as charging a laptop while keeping a phone and tablet connected nearby. Actual charging depends on the connected device and its charging requirements.
Short-circuit protection is a useful built-in feature for a station that may remain connected to several devices. Buyers also highlight charging speed, power and the convenience of charging multiple devices together. Feedback on how much of the port capacity feels usable varies, so choose it for the combination of connectors and desktop charging setup that fits your day-to-day devices.
Who it’s for
This desktop charger makes sense for people who routinely charge a laptop alongside phones, tablets or other USB devices in one place. It can also suit a household or shared workspace where several people need access to charging without spreading separate adapters across the desk. If your priority is charging one phone at a time, a smaller single-device charger is a simpler approach, the X766 is geared towards consolidating a busier setup.
