SURGKET PD-140W 140W Mag 3 Charger for MacBook, with Braided Cable

Power a compatible MacBook at your desk or pack a charger for a work trip with the SURGKET PD-140W 140W Mag 3 charger. Its magnetic connector attaches to the laptop, while the included 6.6 ft cable gives you room to position your device while it charges.

The charger is designed for select MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models with Mag 3 charging. A 140W power adapter and USB-C-to-magnetic cable make this a dedicated laptop charging setup rather than a multi-device charging hub.

Need a magnetic connection with a longer cable for everyday use? The braided lead, charging-status indicator and compact adapter design bring practical details together for home, office and travel.

How to use it

Connect the included cable to the power adapter, then attach its magnetic end to a compatible MacBook’s charging port. The connector aligns magnetically and releases if the cable is pulled, helping reduce strain at the laptop’s port. An amber LED indicates charging, green indicates a full charge.

Compatibility includes MacBook Air 13-inch and 15-inch models with M2, M3 or M4 chips, and MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch models with M1, M2, M3 or M4 Pro/Max chips. It uses a Mag 3 connector, so it is not compatible with earlier L-Tip or T-Tip Mag generations. Match the connector and MacBook model before choosing a charger.

What you’ll notice day to day

The 6.6 ft nylon-braided cable provides reach for charging at a desk, beside a couch or from a hotel-room outlet. Its reinforced joints and internal shielding are designed for regular handling, while the foldable plug helps the adapter pack away neatly. The magnetic attachment also makes connecting and disconnecting straightforward as you move between work sessions.

Buyer feedback praises the compact, travel-friendly design. Experiences with compatibility and charging speed are mixed, so choosing a model from the compatible list is an important part of getting the right fit.

Highlights

The 140W adapter supports a range of power profiles, including 28V⎓5A, and adjusts to the connected device’s required profile. Its control chip and GaN temperature management work alongside over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit and over-temperature protection. These features support everyday charging at home, in the office or while travelling.

The magnetic cable and adapter are included together, so you have the components for this charging setup in one package. Compared with choosing a standard USB-C cable and adapter separately, this set is suited to people who specifically want Mag 3 magnetic charging for a compatible MacBook. The integrated amber-and-green indicator offers a quick visual check of charging status.

Should you buy it?

Choose the SURGKET PD-140W if you want a 140W magnetic charger for a compatible MacBook Air or Pro and value a braided 6.6 ft cable for flexible placement. Its foldable plug, compact design and clear charging indicator make it a practical fit for a regular desk setup or a travel bag. For MacBook owners who prefer a magnetic connection over a standard USB-C charging cable, this set brings the adapter and matching cable together.
