Sondiko MT905 Propane Torch Weed Burner, Adjustable Flame, Blue

The Sondiko MT905 measures 35.6L x 7.4W x 15.2H centimetres and is made from aluminum. Its blue finish and adjustable-flame design identify a propane torch intended for weed burning, with charcoal lighting and campfire starting also listed among its uses.

A propane tank is not included, so plan to pair the torch with a compatible tank. The adjustable flame makes it a versatile choice for several outdoor tasks rather than a tool described for just one job.

Key takeaways

This torch brings weed burning, charcoal lighting and campfire starting together in one propane-powered tool. That range is useful when you want a torch for yard work as well as outdoor fire-starting tasks. Its flame is adjustable, giving you a way to set it for the task at hand, the product description lists a maximum output of 500,000 BTU.

The aluminum construction and dimensions provide practical details for choosing and storing a torch. The MT905 is a specific Sondiko model, and the adjustable flame is a central feature for buyers comparing it with a simpler, single-purpose fire starter. The propane tank is sold separately, so account for that when preparing to use it.

Practical tips

Before using the torch, have a compatible propane tank ready and follow the instructions provided for connecting and operating the torch and fuel container. When you are finished, handle and store both according to their respective instructions. This keeps setup and storage focused on the equipment’s intended propane use.

For a yard task, the torch’s listed weed-burning purpose puts flame application at the centre of the job. For outdoor gatherings, the same product is also described as a charcoal lighter and campfire starter. Those different uses make it worth considering if you prefer one torch for these tasks instead of selecting a separate tool for each.

How to use it

Connect a compatible propane tank following the product instructions, then use the adjustable flame for the task you have in mind. For weed burning, direct the torch as instructed for that use. For charcoal or a campfire, it is listed as a starter, so it can serve as the flame source when preparing those outdoor fires. Follow the torch and fuel-container directions throughout setup and use.

The MT905 is a practical fit for someone looking for a propane torch with more than one stated application. Its adjustable flame distinguishes it from a basic starter with a single listed task, while the 500,000 BTU maximum gives a concrete output figure to consider when comparing torches. Keep in mind that the tank is not included and must be sourced separately.

Final verdict

Choose the Sondiko MT905 if you want an adjustable-flame propane torch for weed burning, charcoal lighting and starting campfires. Its multiple stated uses, aluminum construction and defined dimensions make it easier to assess for yard and outdoor tasks, while the separately sourced tank is a straightforward part of planning your setup.
