TAIRDA Cordless Hedge Trimmer, 22-inch Dual-Action Blade, Brushless Motor
Product description
For gardeners who want cordless hedge trimming and already use compatible DeWalt batteries, the TAIRDA hedge trimmer pairs a 22-inch dual-action blade with a brushless motor. Its cordless design lets you move around the yard without managing a power cord, making it practical for shaping shrubs, tidying hedges and trimming along fences.
The bare-tool format is designed to work with compatible 20V or 60V batteries, so you can use a supported battery you already own. A dual-switch start also helps prevent accidental operation during handling and storage.

The blade’s opposing action is designed to reduce vibration and support smooth, precise trimming. Its 3/5-inch cutting capacity suits routine hedge and shrub maintenance, while the 22-inch cutting length helps cover more of a hedge with each pass. The brushless motor is described as using less battery energy while delivering consistent power, useful when working across a larger yard or through denser branches.
Getting the most from it
Fit a compatible battery before starting, then use the trimmer to shape ornamental shrubs, cut back overgrown hedges or tidy growth along a fence. The cordless format makes it easier to move between sections without searching for an outlet or repositioning a cord. Need to reach overhead growth or work along a tall hedge? The 4.8 lb design is intended to make handling easier and help reduce arm fatigue during extended yard work.
Start the trimmer by pressing the power switch and security switch at the same time. This two-switch design helps prevent accidental starts, while the dual-action blade supports controlled cutting as you work along the hedge. For a clean, even finish, guide the blade steadily through branches within its stated cutting capacity.
