Nawchedo DQY-FA Galaxy Projector Pro, 13-Scene Planetarium Light

For families and space enthusiasts looking to add a night-time projection to a bedroom or relaxation space, the Nawchedo Galaxy Projector Pro offers a choice of 13 celestial scenes, from Earth and the Moon to nebulae and the observable universe. Focus and projection angle adjustments help you direct the image onto a ceiling, wall or floor and bring the chosen scene into clearer view.

Its timer adds a simple way to set the light for bedtime or a quiet wind-down. What kind of view would suit the room tonight: the Solar System, the Milky Way or a distant nebula?

What to know

This table-mounted projector comes with 13 film discs, including one already in the projector. The scenes include the Solar System, Earth, the Moon, the Milky Way, Andromeda Galaxy, Black Hole, Small Magellanic Cloud, Mystic Mountain, Wormhole, Helix Nebula, Flame Nebula, Lobster Nebula and Observable Universe. Switching the disc changes the subject, so the projection can offer variety beyond a single fixed night light.

The adjustable focus helps sharpen the image, while the flexible 360° projection angle lets you aim it towards a ceiling or another surface. A projection distance of 2–5 m and a stated projection area of 135–256 sq ft give you options for placing it in different-sized spaces. The timer can be set to 1 or 2 hours, and the projector also turns off automatically after 4 hours if no timer setting is selected. Its operating noise is listed as less than 30 dB.

Buyers often appreciate the easy setup, changing discs and relaxing atmosphere. Feedback on image clarity is mixed, while the range of space scenes and the visual effect are frequently enjoyed. Compared with a simple ambient lamp, this projector is suited to people who want distinct celestial images and a choice of scenes.

Usage tips

Place the projector on a stable table and aim it at the surface you want to illuminate. Adjust the focus and angle after positioning it, changing the distance within its stated range also changes the projected area. For a bedtime routine, select a disc and set the timer before settling in. Keeping the discs together makes it easier to choose a different scene for a bedroom, game room or home theatre.

How to use it

Insert a film disc, power on the projector, then adjust the focus until the image looks clear at your chosen distance. Direct the projection using the flexible angle, whether you want a view overhead or across a wall. Choose one of the 13 scenes to set the mood for reading, winding down or adding a space-themed backdrop to a room. The included charging cable and user manual support setup, and one disc is already in the projector.

Which scenes are available? The discs cover familiar views such as Earth, the Moon and the Solar System, as well as galaxies, nebulae, a black hole and the observable universe.

How does the shut-off timer work? Set the projector to turn off after 1 or 2 hours. If you do not select a timer, it automatically turns off after 4 hours.

Can the projection be aimed at a wall as well as a ceiling? Yes. Its 360° flexible projection angle lets you direct the image onto a ceiling, wall or floor, with focus adjustment to help clarify the view.
