Smart Ink 952 952XL 4-Pack Ink Cartridges for HP OfficeJet Printers

For home offices and small workspaces that need black and colour ink on hand, this Smart Ink four-cartridge set brings the full 952XL range together in one replacement pack.

It includes one black, one cyan, one magenta and one yellow cartridge. At 5% page coverage, the stated yield is up to 2,000 pages for black and 1,600 pages for each colour cartridge.

If you’re replacing the full set, having all four colours ready is a practical alternative to buying cartridges one at a time. The XL format also suits regular printing of documents, forms and colour materials on a compatible inkjet printer.

Worth noting

These cartridges are compatible with a range of HP OfficeJet printers. Supported models include OfficeJet 8702 and OfficeJet Pro 7720, 7730, 7740, 8200, 8210, 8216, 8218, 8700, 8710, 8714–8719, 8720, 8724–8728, 8730, 8732M, 8734–8736, 8740 and 8743–8747. Match your printer’s model number to the supported list before choosing a replacement.

The cartridges use a current chip version and are described as having an anti-clog ink formula. Black ink is pigment-based, while cyan, magenta and yellow use dye-based ink. That combination provides the separate black and colour cartridges needed for everyday document printing as well as colour pages.

Buyers often highlight straightforward installation and positive customer support. Feedback on printer recognition and print or colour results is mixed, so the exact printer model remains an important part of choosing the right cartridge set.

Care tips

Before installing, identify each cartridge by its colour and follow the printer’s installation prompts. The manufacturer recommends cleaning the printhead before printing to help clear dried ink that can contribute to streaks or faded output. For routine use, keep the printer’s maintenance instructions handy and use the cartridges with one of the listed OfficeJet models.

Who it’s for

This four-pack is suited to people who want to replace black and all three colour cartridges together, rather than manage separate purchases as each colour runs low. It can serve a home office printing a mix of text and colour documents, or a shared workspace that needs the standard black, cyan, magenta and yellow set available for its compatible inkjet printer.

The yield figures are based on 5% page coverage, so actual page counts depend on what you print. For mostly text-based work, the black cartridge’s stated yield is useful when planning replacements, colour-heavy pages draw on the three colour cartridges.

Final verdict

Choose the Smart Ink 952 952XL four-pack when your listed HP OfficeJet model needs a complete replacement set in black, cyan, magenta and yellow. Its XL cartridges and stated yields make it a practical fit for regular document and colour printing, with all four colours in one pack.
