Ring Battery Doorbell Pro, 1536p HD+ Head-to-Toe Video and 3D Motion Detection

The expanded 1536p HD+ head-to-toe view helps you see more of the area around your front door, while 3D Motion Detection lets you focus on movement in selected zones. Ring Battery Doorbell Pro brings these features together with two-way talk with Audio+ and night vision, so you can check who is there and respond from home.

Its Quick Release Battery Pack is designed for convenient recharging. For connected alerts and viewing, it also works with select Alexa-enabled devices.

What matters most

The head-to-toe view gives you a broader look at who is at the door, rather than limiting the view to a smaller area around the visitor. That added coverage is useful when checking a delivery or seeing more of the entryway in one view. Two-way talk with Audio+ lets you communicate through the doorbell, while person and package alerts help you stay informed about activity at home.

3D Motion Detection adds a more targeted way to manage movement alerts. You can set Bird’s Eye Zones on an overhead map of your property, up to 30' away, to pinpoint activity in the areas that matter to you. Would a more focused alert area make it easier to keep track of your entryway? This setup is intended to help direct attention to selected zones instead of treating every part of the surrounding area alike.

Tips for day-to-day use

Night vision stays in colour longer, then switches automatically to black and white in total darkness. That lets you check the doorway in different lighting conditions without manually changing the view. When the battery needs recharging, the Quick Release Battery Pack makes it easier to remove for that task.

Package Alerts notify you when a package is detected within a specified zone, this feature requires a Ring Protect subscription, sold separately. A compatible Ring Protect subscription also provides access to features such as reviewing missed events and intelligent alerts. For hands-free monitoring around the home, select Alexa-enabled devices can play custom notifications through Echo Dot or launch video on Echo Show.

Getting the most from it

Set Bird’s Eye Zones around the parts of the property you want to monitor, then use the doorbell’s video and alerts to check activity at the entrance. For example, when a delivery is expected, a package alert can flag a detected parcel in the specified zone, while the expanded view helps you see more of the doorway. Two-way talk provides a way to respond without first going to the door.

This doorbell suits a setup where seeing more of the entrance and tailoring motion detection are priorities. Compared with a basic doorbell camera focused mainly on showing who is at the door, its 3D motion tools, head-to-toe video and Alexa features offer more ways to manage and view activity. Choose the connected features that fit your routine, including a Ring Protect subscription for package alerts and event review.
