Gawfolk GFTY991 45-Inch Curved Gaming Monitor, DQHD, 240Hz, 32:9

For PC gamers who need a wide view and fast screen updates, the Gawfolk GFTY991 combines a 45-inch curved display with a 32:9 aspect ratio and 240Hz refresh rate. Its 5120 × 1440 DQHD resolution gives you room to keep game content, reference material or work windows in view across one screen, while the 1500R curve brings the broad panel around your field of view.

It also suits a mixed desktop routine: move from gaming to multitasking, entertainment or creative work without changing displays.

Key points

The 32:9 format is designed for a panoramic workspace. Keep several windows or code pages visible side by side, or use the broad view for gaming and video. If your priority is one large, continuous screen, this approach offers a different setup from using separate conventional monitors, with less need to divide your workspace across multiple panels.

A 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time support quick on-screen motion. Adaptive Sync, with FreeSync and G-Sync listed, helps coordinate screen updates with compatible systems. The VA LCD panel has a 3000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m² brightness and a matte finish. Its 120% sRGB colour gamut supports vivid-looking visuals for entertainment and creative tasks, while low blue light and flicker-free features are designed for extended viewing.

Buyers praise the picture and screen quality, and some appreciate the monitor’s appearance and compatibility. Feedback is mixed on reliability and on how the curve feels, so preferences can vary. The 1500R curve is a defining part of the wide-screen viewing experience.

How to use it

Connect a desktop computer, gaming console or laptop through HDMI or DisplayPort. The monitor has two HDMI 2.1 ports and two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, giving you connection options for supported devices. For gaming, use the 240Hz refresh rate and Adaptive Sync with a compatible source, for office work, place documents, browser windows or code side by side across the DQHD workspace. The same screen can also serve for entertainment, video editing or viewing dynamic charts.

Practical tips

Check that your computer or console supports the resolution and refresh rate you want to use, then select its output settings after connecting. Choose HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort 1.4 according to the available connection on your source device. For long sessions, the low blue light and flicker-free features are relevant to everyday work and play, the matte surface is another practical detail for a desktop used throughout the day.

Buying verdict

The GFTY991 is a strong fit for gamers and desktop users who want a single, extra-wide display for fast-paced play and side-by-side tasks. Its combination of 45-inch size, 32:9 DQHD resolution, 240Hz refresh rate and curved 1500R panel makes it especially suited to setups where an expansive view matters as much as responsive motion.
