Gitelsnour GCT030W 74-inch Cat Tree with Condos, Hammocks and Platforms

Large indoor cats benefit from a dedicated place to climb, scratch and settle. The Gitelsnour GCT030W brings these activities together in a tall, multi-level cat tree designed for larger cats and households with more than one kitten.

Three padded upper platforms give cats places to perch and observe their surroundings. Condos, baskets and a hammock add tucked-away resting spots at different levels.

Sisal scratching posts, rope and auxiliary platforms make the tower a place to climb and scratch as well as rest. Its light grey finish and classic style suit an indoor space without making the cat’s activities an afterthought.

The essentials

This 74-inch tower combines three large platforms with two condos and two baskets, creating several distinct spots for lounging and exploring. Cats that like to watch from above can use the raised platforms, while the enclosed condos offer a more sheltered place to retreat. The hammock adds another resting area, and the multi-level layout gives cats routes between perches rather than a single place to sit.

Scratching posts and rope provide designated surfaces for scratching, while the auxiliary platforms support climbing between levels. That mix is useful for indoor cats whose play and resting areas need to share the same footprint. The structure is floor-mounted and made from engineered wood. An anti-tip kit is included to help secure it, and the assembly instructions and tools support setup.

Customer feedback commonly highlights cats’ enjoyment, straightforward assembly, the tower’s height and its appearance. Views are more mixed on size, sturdiness and stability, so use the included anti-tip kit as part of the installation.

Fit and sizing

The tower is recommended for indoor cats and is described as suitable for cats weighing up to 33 lb. Its overall dimensions are listed as 53L x 40W x 183H centimetres. Since cats share the platforms, baskets and condos, compare the spaces available on the tree with your cat’s size as well as its weight. The 74-inch height gives climbing cats a tall structure with multiple resting levels.

For a home choosing between a single perch and a full activity tower, this model offers more than one type of space: elevated platforms, enclosed condos, baskets and a hammock. That variety can suit a large cat or give multiple kittens separate places to explore and rest.

Practical tips

Choose a floor location with room for the full tower and access to its different levels. Assemble it according to the supplied instructions and secure it with the anti-tip kit. Once in place, the platforms and auxiliary steps provide a route for climbing, while the scratching posts and rope give cats dedicated surfaces to use during play.

The different resting spots also make it easy to create a simple indoor routine: a cat can climb to observe, pause in a basket or hammock, then use a condo for a more sheltered rest. This combination of movement and retreat is the main advantage over a basic scratching post or single-level bed.

When it makes sense

The GCT030W is suited to indoor homes looking to give large cats or multiple kittens several ways to climb, scratch, observe and rest in one floor-mounted structure. Its combination of elevated platforms, enclosed condos, baskets, a hammock and scratching surfaces makes it a practical choice when a single perch or scratching post does not provide enough variety.
