Practical tips

Check your printer’s model number against the compatible range before installing the cartridges. Listed HP Envy models include the 6100, 6100e, 6110e, 6120e, 6122e, 6130e, 6131e, 6132e, 6133e, 6152e, 6155, 6155e, 6165e, 6500, 6500e, 6520e, 6530e, 6531e, 6532e, 6552, 6552e, 6555, 6555e and 6558e. Listed HP DeskJet models include the 2910, 2920, 2923, 2942, 2955, 4310, 4320, 4327, 4352, 4355 and 4358.

For a typical work-from-home routine, use the black cartridge for forms and correspondence, then switch to colour for charts, school projects or images on plain or glossy photo paper. The stated yields are based on 5% page coverage, so the number of pages you print will depend on how much ink each page uses. Compared with choosing a black-only replacement, this set also provides a colour cartridge for jobs that need more than text. It suits you if you want both cartridges ready for a compatible printer.

In the box

The pack contains two cartridges: one black and one colour. This pairing covers the two ink colours identified for the set, making it straightforward to replace both in a compatible printer.

What to clarify

Which printers can use these cartridges? They are listed for selected HP Envy and HP DeskJet models, including the Envy 6155e and 6555e and the DeskJet 2942, 2955 and 4352. Match the full model number on your printer to the compatibility list before installation.

Are they compatible with HP+ printers? The upgraded chip is described as compatible with both HP+ enrolled and non-enrolled printers.
