The base and raised sides are made of stainless steel, with a smooth, seamless interior that helps reduce places for dirt to collect. The non-porous surface is designed to resist odour absorption better than plastic, while the scratch-resistant construction is suited to regular use. The 30 cm walls add a practical barrier around the litter area, and the covered design keeps the setup contained.
Best use cases
With its 62 x 42 cm footprint, this XXL box offers space for kittens, adult cats and large-breed cats to turn and dig. It is a practical choice for cats that scatter litter while digging, since the high sides help reduce litter from reaching the surrounding floor. The enclosed format also works well for households that prefer a more contained litter-box area rather than an open, low-sided tray.
Buyers commonly highlight the roomy size, contained scattering and ease of cleaning, along with the stainless steel appearance. Feedback on the non-stick surface is mixed, so the most consistent practical advantage is the smooth interior, which can be scooped and rinsed as part of regular care.
Getting the most from it
Scoop waste regularly, then rinse the smooth interior with water during cleaning. The included plastic scoop is ready for daily waste removal, and the seamless interior helps make it easier to reach the areas where residue might otherwise collect. Placing the box in a suitable litter area gives the high sides room to help contain digging and splashes. For cats that need more turning space, the XXL dimensions provide a roomy alternative to a compact tray.
Should you buy it?
It’s a good fit if you want a covered, roomy litter box with high sides and a stainless steel interior for regular scooping and rinsing. The PETALPAW EL-B11 brings together space for cats to move, a design intended to limit scatter, and a durable steel body—useful features for a more contained, easier-to-manage litter area.
