Oliz 17-Inch Self-Watering Window Planters, 8-Piece Set with Drainage

For gardeners who want room for herbs, flowers, vegetables or succulents in a rectangular planter, this Oliz set includes eight white window boxes for indoor and outdoor use.

Each planter has a self-watering reservoir and cotton rope that draws moisture towards the roots. That setup helps keep plants hydrated between watering sessions.

Drainage and air holes support airflow through the planter, while the clean white finish suits a windowsill, balcony, patio or living space. Need a set that brings watering support and drainage together? These boxes combine both in a straightforward format.

Highlights

The eight-piece set gives you matching planters for arranging several plants together or spreading them across different spots around your home. Each rectangular box measures 17 x 7 x 6 inches, offering a defined planting area that works well along a windowsill, balcony rail area or patio edge. The listed dimensions are also 18D x 43W x 15H centimetres.

A 1L water reservoir and absorbent cotton rope are included for each planter. The rope wicks moisture from the reservoir towards the roots, so watering is built into the planter rather than relying only on direct watering from above. This can be useful for everyday plant care and when you expect to be away for a while.

Drainage holes and air holes at the bottom help water move through the planter and improve airflow around the roots. For shoppers comparing self-watering boxes with standard planters, this design adds a reservoir and wicking system while retaining drainage features. The planters are made from polypropylene (PP) and have a minimalist white finish for a consistent look across indoor and outdoor arrangements.

Quick sizing guide

At 17 x 7 x 6 inches, these rectangular planters suit plants that can grow in a box-style container, including herbs, flowers, vegetables and succulents. Their elongated shape makes it practical to group plants in a row or use separate boxes for different varieties. Before placing them, measure the intended sill, shelf or patio area against the planter dimensions so the set fits your layout.

Usage tips

Add water to the reservoir and position the cotton rope so it can draw moisture towards the planting area. Use the drainage and air holes as part of the planter’s normal setup, and choose a level location suited to the plant and the indoor or outdoor space. For a kitchen windowsill, the boxes can keep herbs together, on a balcony or patio, separate planters let you organize flowers or other plants by type. The eight matching pieces also make it easier to create a coordinated arrangement without relying on a single large planter.
