Lsbtaucp SJZ-119A Solar Animal Deterrent with 5 Modes and USB Charging

At 12 x 9.5 x 8 cm, this compact outdoor animal deterrent is made from waterproof ABS plastic. It combines solar charging with USB charging and offers five selectable sound and light modes. Place it near a lawn, garden or planting area to respond to detected movement with a setting that suits the space.

What matters most

Choose between gentle sound, moderate sound, an audible alert, a bright LED flash or an automatic cycle. The cycle moves through the sound and flash settings, with flash only at night. This gives you more flexibility than a fixed sound-only deterrent: you can select light, sound or a combination according to your outdoor setup and preference.

A 120° infrared detection angle and sensing radius of up to 40 ft help the unit monitor the surrounding area. Position it to face the lawn, garden, flower beds or planting beds where you want motion detection. Its purpose is to provide a sound or light response when movement is detected, giving you a configurable way to deter animals around outdoor spaces.

Solar power supports outdoor use, while USB charging provides another way to charge the built-in rechargeable unit. For solar charging, install it in a location that receives direct sunlight. The IP66 waterproof rating and outdoor-ready design make it suitable for use in rainy conditions, while the choice of mounting options helps adapt placement to the site.

Care & maintenance

Read the instructions before installation and select the operating mode that fits your needs. The unit can be placed in soil or fixed to a fence, wall or tree. During installation, do not disassemble the device. For solar charging, choose a position with direct sunlight, placement and angle also matter for aiming its motion detection towards the area you want to monitor.

To clean the surface, wipe it gently with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh or corrosive cleaners. These simple steps help keep the unit ready for regular outdoor use and preserve a clear surface around its solar panel and sensor.

Best use cases

Use the deterrent around lawns, gardens, flower beds and planting areas where you want a motion-triggered sound or flash response. For a quieter evening setting, the automatic cycle uses flash only at night. When an audible response is preferable, choose one of the sound modes instead, the adjustable settings let you tailor the response rather than relying on one fixed output.

Its flexible placement makes it practical for different garden layouts. Insert it into soil near a bed, or mount it on a fence, wall or tree with the detection area facing the space to monitor. Direct sunlight supports solar charging, and USB charging offers an alternative charging option when needed.

When it makes sense

This model suits outdoor spaces where adjustable sound and light responses are useful in one compact unit. The five modes offer a choice between sound, flashing light and an automatic cycle, while the 120° detection angle and sensing radius of up to 40 ft help cover the intended area. For homeowners looking for a solar-powered animal deterrent that can be positioned around a lawn or garden and also charged by USB, the SJZ-119A brings adaptable operation and practical placement together.
