Mintink T04D1 Ink Maintenance Box for Epson ET, WF and XP Printers

Choosing a printer part can mean restoring a routine maintenance function or replacing a component that has reached its service point. The Mintink T04D1 is a replacement ink maintenance box designed to collect waste ink during printer cleaning and maintenance cycles.

It is compatible with a range of Epson printers, including selected ET, WF and XP models. Matching the box number to your printer helps make the replacement straightforward.

A user guide, disposable gloves and a disposal bag are included to support the changeover and handling of the removed box.

Key points

The T04D1 collects waste ink produced as a compatible printer runs cleaning and maintenance cycles. When the printer indicates that the maintenance box needs replacing, this component provides a replacement for the user-removable T04D1/T04D100 box. Its recognition chip is designed to help the printer recognize the installed part.

Compatibility covers a wide range of Epson models, including ET-15000, ET-2760, ET-3710, ET-3750, ET-3760, ET-3830, ET-3850, ET-4750, ET-4760, ET-4850, ET-5150, ET-5170, ET-5180, ET-M1170, ET-M2170 and ET-M3170, as well as WF-2860 and XP-5100. The listed compatibility also includes models such as ET-3950, ET-4950, WF-2960, XP-5200, ST-3000 and ST-4000. Check your printer’s model and required maintenance box number before ordering.

The package includes one maintenance box, a user guide, one pair of disposable gloves and a disposal bag for the old box. The replacement is for the removable maintenance box, rather than the printer’s internal waste ink pads, reset software or codes are not part of this kit.

Getting the most from it

Use the printer’s maintenance instructions as your guide for replacing the box. The included gloves and disposal bag make it easier to handle the removed component, while the user guide provides an additional reference for the change. Avoid touching the chip contacts during installation so the recognition feature can function as intended.

This is a compatible replacement part for routine printer upkeep, rather than an ink cartridge: its job is to collect waste ink, not supply ink for printing. That distinction helps when choosing between a maintenance component and a consumable used to produce printed pages.

Best use cases

The T04D1 is suited to owners of compatible Epson inkjet printers whose device indicates that its maintenance box needs replacement. For example, if an ET-3850 or WF-2860 prompts for a new box, this part is designed for that type of maintenance task. Matching the printer model and T04D1 number first helps ensure you select the right replacement for the device.

It also makes sense for keeping a compatible printer’s maintenance parts on hand, especially where the printer handles regular cleaning cycles. The included handling items help make the removal and disposal step more organized, and the recognition chip is intended to support recognition after installation.

Final verdict

For Epson ET, WF and XP printer owners with a compatible model that calls for a T04D1/T04D100 maintenance box, Mintink offers a focused replacement kit for collecting waste ink and completing the changeover. Its broad listed model range, recognition chip and included guide and disposal supplies make it a practical fit for this specific printer maintenance need.
