MaxPage 245XL 246XL Combo Pack Remanufactured Ink Cartridges, Black & Tri-Colour

This two-cartridge pack pairs a 245XL black cartridge with a 246XL tri-colour cartridge for compatible Canon PIXMA inkjet printers. The remanufactured cartridges give you both ink types in one replacement set, ready for everyday documents, school projects and photo printing.

With a stated yield of 350 pages for black and 320 pages for colour at 5% coverage, the set is designed to support regular home or home-office printing.

Quick overview

The MaxPage combo includes one black cartridge and one tri-colour cartridge. Its remanufactured format offers an alternative to purchasing OEM cartridges, while the two-cartridge pack brings the standard black-and-colour setup together. An upgraded chipset is described as supporting a stable connection between the cartridges and printer.

The listed compatible PIXMA models include the TS3420, TS3400, TS3120, MX492, MX490, MG3022, MG2522, MG2920, TR4520, TR4522, TR4527 and TR4500. Matching the printer’s model number with the compatibility list helps ensure you choose the right cartridge family.

Buyers describe installation as straightforward, with positive comments about compatibility and ease of replacement. Feedback is mixed on colour consistency and how long the ink lasts, so experiences vary across individual users and print jobs.

Best use cases

This set suits routine printing that calls for both black text and colour output. Use the black cartridge for letters, assignments and general documents, then switch to the tri-colour cartridge for school projects, colour graphics or photos on paper. Having both cartridges in one pack is practical when you need to replenish the two main ink types together rather than shopping for each separately.

If your printing is mostly text, a black-only replacement is a different approach, this combo is more useful when colour work is also part of the regular mix. For a home office, for example, it can cover invoices and forms as well as a child’s illustrated project without requiring a separate colour-cartridge purchase.

Getting the most from it

Check your printer’s exact PIXMA model against the compatible list before installation. The listed range covers selected iP, MG, MX, TR and TS series models, including the TS202, TS302, TS3100, TS3122, TS3320 and TS3429. Compatibility is model-specific, so a printer being part of the PIXMA family alone does not establish a match.

The page-yield figures are stated at 5% coverage: 350 pages for the 245XL black cartridge and 320 pages for the 246XL colour cartridge. Actual page counts depend on how much ink each document or image uses, pages with larger areas of colour can consume ink differently from lightly printed text. For routine mixed printing, keeping both cartridges available means you can handle monochrome and colour jobs from the same replacement pack.
