Lockport Gaffers Tape, 2-Inch Black Matte Tape, 30 Yards, 4-Pack

Each black roll is 2 inches wide and 30 yards long, in a four-pack format for stage, studio and event setups. The matte, non-reflective finish helps keep tape less noticeable around cameras and lighting. It tears by hand for quick placement and shaping. Need to secure cable runs without making them the focus? This tape is designed for that kind of practical set work.

Quick sizing guide

Each roll measures 2 inches wide by 30 yards long, giving you a broad strip for taping down cables, marking stage areas or securing props and equipment. A four-pack is useful when several runs or work areas need attention during a production, conference or photography session. Compared with a narrow marking tape, the wider format offers more coverage per strip, a narrower format may suit fine, detailed marking better. For the intended adhesion, apply it to a clean, dry, non-porous surface free from dust, oil and other contaminants.

Benefits

The matte black finish is designed to reduce reflections under stage or camera lights, helping tape blend into a set, backdrop or darker venue floor. That makes it useful when a cable needs to be secured while keeping visual distractions to a minimum. The waterproof construction adds another practical feature for varied event and production settings.

Hand-tear application makes it easier to cut strips to the length or shape a task calls for, without stopping to reach for scissors. Use it to secure cables, attach lights, hold props, organize gear, mark stages or support photography and filming backdrops. It can also be used for arts and crafts, painting and other setup tasks on recommended surfaces such as wood, steel, glazed tile, fabric, plastic, vinyl and cables.

Buyer feedback on adhesion, quality and durability is mixed. Some appreciate the grip and easy tearing, while others report weaker adhesion or residue on cases. Preparing the surface as directed helps put the tape to its intended use, and the feedback is worth considering when planning a job where consistent results are essential.
