Kohree KR411 RV Roof Tape, White 4 Inch x 50 Foot Butyl Sealant

Weatherproof, UV-resistant sealing helps protect an RV from water getting in around vulnerable roof areas. Kohree KR411 is a white, 4 Inch x 50 Foot tape designed for RV roof repairs and other outdoor sealing jobs.

Its butyl adhesive forms a self-priming seal, while the flexible tape can follow flat surfaces, curves and corners. That makes it useful for repairs where a tape-format seal is preferred over a liquid-applied product.

Use it on compatible RV roofing materials, or around windows and doors on a camper, motorhome or trailer. The waterproof, weather-resistant finish is suited to outdoor exposure.

Compatibility

The tape is designed for RV repair and is listed for use with EPDM rubber, PVC, Hypalon, metal and TPO. Its applications include RV roofs, windows and doors, as well as motorhomes, trailers, fifth wheels, Airstreams, vans and buses. Matching the tape to the roofing or repair material helps keep the seal suited to the surface being worked on.

For a roof seam or another area where water may enter, the weather-resistant, waterproof tape provides a direct sealing format. It can also be used on curved or corner surfaces, so repairs are not limited to broad, flat sections. Compared with choosing a general-purpose repair product, this tape is specifically designed for RV sealing and names several common RV roofing materials as compatible.

Practical tips

Plan the tape placement around the area that needs sealing, whether that is on the roof or around a window or door. Its flexibility helps it follow flat sections, curves and corners, while the butyl adhesive is described as providing a self-priming seal. The 4 Inch x 50 Foot format offers a continuous strip for working along a repair area.

The tape is intended for outdoor use and is described as resistant to UV exposure, moisture and weather. It can be left exposed to rain after a repair, making it relevant for RVs that spend time outdoors. Use it on one of the listed compatible materials for roof and exterior sealing work.

When it makes sense

Kohree KR411 suits RV owners handling a roof leak or sealing work around windows and doors who want a flexible, tape-format product for outdoor repairs. Its named compatibility with EPDM, PVC, Hypalon, metal and TPO is useful when choosing a sealant for a particular RV surface. For a repair that needs to follow a curve or corner, the flexible butyl-adhesive tape offers a practical way to create a weather-resistant seal.
