Delamu 5 m Clear Double-Sided Mounting Tape, 20 mm x 1 mm Acrylic Gel

When you want to mount décor without drilling, clear double-sided tape offers a simple way to attach items while keeping the surface visible. Delamu’s acrylic gel tape is designed for smooth, non-porous surfaces and can be trimmed to the length your project needs.

The 5 m roll is 20 mm wide and 1 mm thick, giving you a practical format for home, kitchen and office organization. Its transparent finish suits projects where visible fasteners would distract from the display.

Use it for picture frames, wall décor, kitchen storage racks, bathroom hooks, poster displays or carpet edges. The right application depends on a clean, dry, smooth surface and firm pressure during installation.

Tips for day-to-day use

Start by wiping the target surface clean and letting it dry fully. Cut the tape to the required length, apply it to the surface, then remove the clear protective liner. Position the item and press firmly for five to eight seconds. These straightforward steps make it useful for quick organizing jobs as well as planned décor updates, without requiring special tools.

For a renter arranging a wall display, for example, the clear tape can attach décor without drilling holes. It can also help keep a carpet edge in place or secure a hook on a smooth surface. Choose a smooth, non-porous area such as glass, ceramic, stainless steel, marble, smooth wood or plastic, textured, uneven or porous surfaces are not the intended fit. Avoid applying it to wet surfaces or freshly painted walls.

Pros

The transparent acrylic gel keeps the fastening less noticeable around décor and displays. Its 20 mm width and 1 mm thickness suit a range of everyday mounting tasks, while the 5 m roll can be cut into custom lengths to fit each item. For projects where preserving the original surface matters more than making a permanent drilled fixture, the removable format offers a practical alternative.

Need to rearrange a display later? The tape is described as removable from smooth, non-porous surfaces without sticky marks. It can also be rinsed with clean water and air-dried to restore adhesion for reuse, making it handy for changing layouts or repeat mounting tasks.

What to know

Delamu recommends this tape for indoor and outdoor use, with smooth surfaces as the recommended application. The product is waterproof, and its listed temperature range is 0°F to 200°F. Its acrylic adhesive is double-sided, so it attaches between the surface and the item rather than relying on a visible fastener.

For the cleanest application, match the tape to the surface and prepare that area before mounting. The product highlights smooth materials including glass, plastic, ceramic, stainless steel, marble and smooth wood. It is not intended for wet, brick, textured wallpaper, freshly painted, uneven or porous surfaces. This makes surface choice an important part of planning a wall display, kitchen organizer or office setup.

Should you buy it?

Choose this clear mounting tape when you want a drill-free way to arrange décor or organize smooth surfaces, and value the option to remove and reuse the adhesive. Its cut-to-length roll, transparent finish and acrylic gel format support projects from poster displays to hooks and household storage. For renters, students and anyone who likes to refresh a room’s layout, it offers a straightforward way to mount items while keeping the installation discreet.
