How it fits

The kit includes a 3.5 mm condenser microphone with desktop stand, G9 audio mixer, 3-metre headphone cable, USB-C cable and an OTG adapter for mobile devices. The mixer has a 3.5 mm input for the included condenser microphone and a 6.35 mm input for a dynamic microphone, giving you a choice of mic connection. USB microphones are not supported.

For a computer, connect the mixer’s OTG port with the USB cable. For a smartphone, use the braided cable marked OTG and connect it to the same mixer port. The kit supports PCs, Macs and mobile devices, with Android, Windows and iOS listed among its compatible operating systems. You can also bring in background music through Bluetooth or a dual-ended 3.5 mm audio cable. These connection options make it easier to set up a speaking or singing session around the devices you already use.

Onboard controls let you adjust microphone and background music volume, mute, monitor audio in real time and add reverb. A digital display shows adjustment values such as volume and effect intensity, so you can see changes as you make them. Built-in noise reduction is designed to help reduce background noise, while ducking automatically lowers background music when you speak, helping your voice stay prominent in a stream or recording.

For a more produced sound, adjust treble, midrange and bass, choose from 12 electronic tone levels, or add one of four voice-changing modes and 12 sound effects, including applause and laughter. The follow-singing mode is intended for music livestreams: you hear the original track and accompaniment vocals in your headphones, while the audience hears the accompaniment and your voice. This mode requires two devices, one for playback and another for streaming. For a simple home recording, connect the microphone and headphones, set your levels on the mixer, then monitor your sound as you speak or sing.
