ASTRO Gaming A10 Gen 2 (939-002069) Wired Gaming Headset, Grey, 32 mm Drivers

The over-ear format of the ASTRO Gaming A10 Gen 2 places its ear cups around the ears for a comfortable fit during gaming. Its grey finish keeps the look straightforward, while the closed-back design suits focused play.

Custom-tuned 32 mm dynamic drivers deliver game audio through a wired 3.5 mm connection. The headset works with a range of consoles and computers, making it a practical choice for a setup that spans more than one platform.

A boom microphone flips up to mute when you need privacy. The detachable cable also has an in-line volume control, so you can adjust sound without leaving the game.

Size & fit

The circumaural, over-ear construction is designed to sit around the ears, and the closed-back cups help create a more focused listening setup. For a typical gaming session, connect the headset through its 3.5 mm jack, position the boom mic for conversation, and use the cable control to change volume as you play. Replaceable ear cushions and a replaceable headband pad let you refresh those contact points as they wear.

What stands out

The A10 Gen 2 combines game audio and team chat in one wired headset. Its 32 mm dynamic drivers are custom-tuned for gaming, while the integrated unidirectional boom mic flips up to mute and down for communication. That simple movement is useful when you want a quick privacy break without searching for a separate control.

Want to make a quick audio adjustment without opening a menu? The in-line volume control keeps it within reach on the removable headphone cable. This setup is a good fit for players who prefer a direct wired connection and physical controls over a wireless headset with on-device charging. Buyers often praise the sound clarity and comfort, opinions on build quality vary, and some report concerns about durability and microphone quality. Those comments reflect individual experiences, while the replaceable cushions and headband pad offer a practical way to change worn contact parts.
