iRobot Roomba Plus 575 Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo with 25,000 Pa Suction

With 25,000 Pa suction and a rubber-and-bristle brush, the iRobot Roomba Plus 575 tackles everyday debris, crumbs and pet hair across hard floors and carpets. Its spinning DualClean mop pads add a scrubbing step for dried spills and kitchen splatter, helping one robot handle both loose dirt and stuck-on messes.

The AutoWash Dock takes on routine upkeep, while LiDAR navigation and PrecisionVision AI help the robot map rooms and avoid obstacles as it cleans.

Getting the most from it

Set a schedule or choose rooms and zones through the app, then let the robot vacuum and mop as part of your regular floor-care routine. Room-by-room navigation and smart mapping help direct cleaning around the home, while adjustable suction and selective room cleaning give you control over where it works. Voice control and onboard buttons provide additional ways to start a clean.

For a typical kitchen clean, the vacuum brush can lift crumbs and pet hair while the spinning mop pads work on dried splashes. SmartScrub applies extra pressure to help loosen stubborn spots. When rugs are detected, the mop pads lift to help keep them dry during vacuuming. The extending mop arm reaches along walls, corners and under toe kicks for more edge coverage.

Why it’s worth it

The main advantage is having vacuuming, mopping and pad care coordinated in one routine. The dock automatically empties debris for up to 90 days and refills the robot’s onboard liquid tank for up to 40 days of mopping. After cleaning, it washes the mop pads at 75°C and dries them with hot air at 45°C, so pad maintenance is handled at the dock rather than after every run.

For homes with pets or busy shared spaces, the combination of pet-hair pickup, targeted room cleaning and spinning mop pads is useful when floors need more than a quick pass. Buyer feedback is mixed on reliability and value, while some buyers highlight its pickup of pet hair and ability to lift grime and sticky spots. Those comments offer perspectives on day-to-day use, not a substitute for the features above.

Practical questions

Can it clean both carpets and hard floors? Yes. It is recommended for both, and the mop pads lift when the robot detects rugs to help keep them dry while vacuuming.

What does the AutoWash Dock do? It empties collected debris, refills the onboard tank for mopping, and washes and hot-air dries the mop pads. Automatic emptying is listed for up to 90 days, with liquid refills for up to 40 days of mopping.

Can it move between rooms with thresholds? It can climb thresholds up to 35 mm. LiDAR mapping supports room-by-room navigation, while PrecisionVision AI helps it recognize and avoid obstacles.
