Eureka Airspeed NEU101C Bagless Upright Vacuum with 10.5-Inch Cleaning Path

With a 10.5-inch cleaning path, the Eureka Airspeed NEU101C is designed to cover hard floors and carpets. Its bagless upright format also includes a detachable handle and two tools for above-floor cleaning. Could one vacuum handle both routine floor care and a few awkward corners? The included crevice tool and dusting brush make that a practical use case.

Getting the most from it

Use the upright for dirt and hair on carpet and hard floors, then detach the handle and connect it to the hose for areas such as upholstery, windows and tight gaps. The crevice tool is suited to narrow spaces, while the dusting brush adds another option for surfaces that need a lighter touch. Both tools store on the vacuum, so they stay close at hand during a cleaning session.

The washable filter can be rinsed and left to air-dry, and the 1.7 L dust cup has a one-press release for emptying. That bagless setup avoids buying vacuum bags, though it does mean emptying the cup and keeping the filter clean are part of regular upkeep. Compared with a floor-only cleaner, the detachable handle and attachments offer more flexibility around the home, compared with a more demanding cleaning setup, the corded design may be less convenient if you need to move frequently between distant rooms.

Pros

The main draw is the combination of carpet and hard-floor cleaning with a compact upright body and tools for above-floor tasks. Buyers describe the suction as effective, including for picking up pet hair, and several also appreciate that the vacuum is straightforward to use and empty. Those comments are useful context, but they are not a guarantee of results in every home.

There are also recurring reservations in buyer feedback: some find the cord too short and the wand or hose reach insufficient, while others raise concerns about durability. If your rooms require frequent outlet changes or you expect extended reach, those points deserve consideration. You’ll like it if you want a corded vacuum that can move between floor types and handle smaller above-floor jobs without relying on a floor-only tool. It’s not for you if a long reach is a priority, based on those reported concerns.

Before you decide

Can it clean both carpet and hard floors? Yes. The product is described for both surface types, with a 10.5-inch cleaning path.

Can it clean above the floor? Yes. The handle detaches and connects to the hose, and the crevice tool and dusting brush are included for other areas.

How is the filter maintained? Rinse the washable filter with water and let it air-dry before using it again.

Is it worth it?

The Airspeed NEU101C is worth considering if you want one bagless upright for regular carpet and hard-floor cleaning, with attachments for smaller jobs beyond the floor. Its washable filter and easy-empty dust cup keep the routine straightforward, while buyer concerns about cord and tool reach are relevant for larger layouts or tasks that call for extra extension. Choose it for everyday, mixed-surface cleaning, look elsewhere if longer reach or a strong record of durability is essential to your decision.
