FEELNEEDY FN-W08L Cordless Cat Fountain, 3.5 L, 304 Stainless Steel Tray

With a 3.5 L capacity, the FEELNEEDY FN-W08L gives cats a circulating water source in a cordless fountain format. Its rechargeable battery lets you place it at a convenient indoor drinking spot without positioning it beside a power outlet.

The water tray is made from 304 stainless steel, while the reservoir is plastic. This combination gives pets a steel drinking surface and makes the tray easy to clean as part of regular care.

Choose between motion-sensing, timed and continuous dispensing to suit your routine. The sensor mode runs water for 20 seconds after a pet approaches, timed mode runs for 15 seconds every 15 minutes. Continuous dispensing is available when the fountain is plugged in.

What it works with

Designed for indoor use with cats, dogs and small or medium-sized animals, the fountain offers a flexible option for homes with pets who drink from a shared water station. Its cordless battery operation makes placement easier than with a fountain that needs to stay beside an outlet. If you prefer water to run only when a pet comes near, use the sensor mode, timed dispensing suits a more regular cycle, while continuous mode serves a different need when the unit is plugged in.

The filtration system is designed to catch dust, loose hair and small debris, while the moving water imitates a flowing tap. A low-water protection feature stops the pump automatically and signals with a red light, a useful prompt to refill or clean the fountain. The stated battery use is up to 45 days after a full charge, depending on use.

Practical tips

Place the fountain on a stable indoor surface where your pet can approach it comfortably. Wash the stainless steel tray and clean the fountain regularly, use the included brushes to help with cleaning. Keep an eye on the water level: the pump will stop when the level is low, and adding water or cleaning the unit can help address a louder sound caused by low water or a blockage. Replace the filters as part of ongoing maintenance.

Buyers often praise the quiet operation, capacity and design, and say their pets take to the fountain. Feedback is mixed on pump reliability and durability, so regular cleaning and attention to water level are practical parts of routine use.

Practical questions

How does the motion-sensing mode work? It dispenses water for 20 seconds when a pet approaches. For a repeating schedule, timed mode runs for 15 seconds every 15 minutes.

Can it run without being plugged in? The rechargeable battery supports cordless use. Continuous dispensing is the mode that requires the fountain to be plugged in.

What helps keep the water fresh? The multiple filtration system is designed to filter dust, floating hair and small debris. The included replacement filters support ongoing upkeep, while regular cleaning helps keep the tray and fountain ready for daily use.

Final verdict

The FN-W08L brings together a 3.5 L capacity, cordless placement and three dispensing modes in a compact indoor fountain. It’s a practical fit for pet owners who want flexible positioning, a stainless steel drinking tray and a choice between sensor-triggered, timed or plugged-in continuous flow.
