FEELNEEDY FN-W17 Cordless Cat Water Fountain, 3.2 L, Stainless Steel

For cats and dogs drawn to moving water, a fountain can make a water station more engaging than a still bowl. The FEELNEEDY FN-W17 pairs cordless placement with a 3.2 L capacity. Would a motion-triggered flow suit your pet’s routine? Its filter window and three operating modes make it easier to tailor daily use.

Key features

A see-through filter window lets you check the filter at a glance, so you can keep an eye on its condition without taking the fountain apart. The circulating filtration system is designed to remove hair, impurities and odours from the water. Stainless steel and ABS construction bring together a familiar, easy-to-place fountain format and a stainless steel drinking area.

The 3.2 L reservoir provides a generous supply for a home water station, while the rechargeable 4000mAh battery allows cordless placement. That can be useful when the best spot for your pet’s water is not beside an outlet, or when you want to keep a power cord away from curious paws. The fountain is intended for indoor use and measures 21.8L x 21.5W x 17H centimetres.

How to use it

Choose the mode that suits your space and your pet. Sensor Mode starts the water when movement is detected within a 120° field and 5 ft range. Timed Mode runs a 20-second flow every 15 minutes, while Continuous Mode provides a steady stream when the fountain is plugged in. The battery-powered design supports cordless use, plug-in power is required for Continuous Mode.

For everyday care, place the fountain indoors where your pet can approach it comfortably, then check the visible filter window as part of your routine. The combination of flowing water and automatic modes gives you alternatives to a basic bowl or a fountain that needs to stay connected to a cord. A two-year parts warranty is listed, excluding the filter.

Who it’s for

This model suits cat owners looking for a cordless fountain with a larger reservoir, and households with dogs or small animals can also use it. It may be especially appealing when a pet shows interest in moving water: buyers describe cats being curious about the flow and enjoying the fountain. They also appreciate the cordless setup and rechargeable battery. Feedback on reliability is mixed, with some buyers reporting issues with the pump or motor, while others describe continued use. These are individual experiences rather than a guarantee of how any one unit will perform.

Should you buy it?

It makes sense if you want a battery-operated indoor fountain with a visible filter, a 3.2 L capacity and a choice of sensor, timed or plugged-in continuous flow. The FN-W17’s cordless setup gives you more flexibility in choosing a practical water station, while its filtration system and clear filter window support a straightforward care routine. For pet owners seeking an alternative to still water, it brings those useful features together in one fountain.
