GIOTOHUN H1-BPRO Cat Water Fountain, 2 L, Two Flow Modes, LED Light

For cats that prefer moving water, a fountain can make drinking more engaging, for their people, a 2 L reservoir means less frequent refilling. The GIOTOHUN H1-BPRO combines two water-flow modes with a triple-filter system, giving cats a choice between tap-style and fountain-style flow while helping keep their water fresh.

Its transparent tank and built-in LED make the water level easier to see at a glance, including in low light. Removable parts make routine cleaning and filter changes more straightforward, and the round black plastic design is intended for indoor use.

Requirements

Before first use, soak the filter in water for 3–5 minutes. Keep the water level above the pump so it can operate as intended. The fountain is corded electric and uses a 5-volt power source, so choose an indoor spot near a suitable power connection. Switch the unit off before cleaning or replacing accessories.

Tips for day-to-day use

Choose tap mode or fountain mode to suit your cat’s preference. The flowing water gives curious cats an inviting place to drink, while the transparent reservoir helps you see when it needs topping up without opening the dispenser. In a typical home routine, that visibility is useful when checking the water before leaving for the day or settling in for the evening.

The removable design supports regular cleaning of the fountain and pump. The manufacturer recommends replacing the activated carbon filter every 2–4 weeks and the sponge filter every 1–2 months. Keeping to those intervals helps maintain the filtration system as part of your pet’s normal water-care routine.

Buyers often appreciate the quiet operation, ease of cleaning, capacity and lighting, and some say the flowing water encourages their cats to drink. Feedback on durability is mixed, with some buyers reporting pump failures after a period of use. These comments are individual experiences rather than a guarantee of how a particular unit will perform.

Should you buy it?

The H1-BPRO suits cat owners looking for an indoor fountain with a 2 L capacity, a choice of two flow styles and visible water-level monitoring. Its removable parts and replaceable filter system make ongoing care part of the design, while the LED helps make the station easier to spot in dim conditions. If your cat is drawn to running water, the tap and fountain settings offer a practical way to make everyday drinking more appealing.
