FANPROMS Magnetic Wall Decal, 120 x 45 cm Black Chalkboard

Some wall decor is meant to be looked at, this FANPROMS Magnetic Wall Decal is designed to make a wall part of play, learning and everyday display. Its black, arched surface combines a chalkboard with a magnetic area, giving children a place to draw while letters, numbers, puzzles or other lightweight magnetic items can be displayed nearby.

At 120 x 45 cm, it provides a defined activity space without taking over an entire wall. It may suit a nursery, playroom or classroom where drawing and hands-on learning are part of the routine.

Getting the most from it

Use the decal as a shared spot for artwork, simple reminders or learning activities. Magnets can hold lightweight items, while chalk offers a separate way to write or draw. That combination is useful when a room needs both a place to create and a visible area for notes or pictures, rather than a surface dedicated to just one task.

The adhesive is intended for smooth, flat surfaces such as glass, metal and tiles. Choose the location carefully before applying it: although the product is described as removable without residue, removal may damage wallpaper or latex-painted walls. A fully moistened cloth is specified for wiping away chalk marks, so it can be reset for the next activity.

What you’ll notice day to day

The arched black design gives the activity area a more finished look than a simple marked-off patch of wall, while keeping the display and drawing functions together. In a playroom, children could draw with the included colourful chalks and use magnets for letters or puzzles, in a classroom, the same surface could hold lightweight learning pieces or notes.

You’ll like it if you want one wall feature for both chalk use and magnetic display. The magnetic function is described for lightweight objects, so it is not intended as a general-purpose wall holder for heavier items. The supplied chalks and multiple accessories add to the ready-to-use activity setup, though the product details do not specify exact accessory quantities.

Is it worth it?

This decal makes the most sense when the goal is to combine drawing, display and simple learning activities in one dedicated spot. Compared with a chalkboard used only for writing, its magnetic area adds another way to use the wall, compared with a basic magnetic surface, chalk gives children room to draw directly on it. The choice of mounting surface matters, particularly on wallpaper or latex paint, where removal may cause damage. It may not suit you if you need to hold heavier objects or want a completely removable wall feature without that surface risk.
