BISSELL CleanView Swivel Pet 3198B Upright Vacuum with Triple Action Brush Roll

The Triple Action Brush Roll agitates, sweeps and suctions in one pass, helping lift pet hair and embedded dirt from carpets, hard floors and area rugs. Scatter-Free Technology helps keep light debris from spreading as you clean hard floors.

Swivel steering makes it easier to guide the upright vacuum around chair legs, sofas and pet beds. Its Quick Release Extension Wand stays attached and is ready for above-floor tasks.

Choose this style of vacuum when you want one machine for routine floor cleaning and pet-related messes around the home. For a quick crumb pickup, Scatter-Free Technology supports a tidy pass on hard floors, for hair on upholstery or stairs, the wand and pet tools offer a different way to reach the mess.

How to use it

Use the upright vacuum across carpets, area rugs and hard floors, guiding it around furniture with the swivel steering. The brush roll works to loosen, lift and remove dirt and pet hair as the vacuum moves over the surface. On hard floors, Scatter-Free Technology is designed to capture lightweight debris without scattering it ahead of the vacuum.

For cleaning above the floor, release the attached extension wand and reach areas such as stairs, shelves, ceiling edges and the space behind appliances. The specialized pet tools are intended for upholstery, stairs and other hard-to-reach spots where pet hair collects. After cleaning, the dirt tank empties at the press of a button, and the pre-motor filter is washable for routine care.

Pros

The combination of a multi-surface brush roll and scatter-control airflow gives this model a practical role in homes where pet hair and everyday crumbs turn up on more than one floor type. Rather than switching between a floor-only vacuum and a separate tool for small above-floor jobs, the attached wand provides a quick transition to stairs and higher surfaces.

Its four-wheel design and swivel steering help with navigating around furnishings, while the lightweight design supports moving it between cleaning areas. The included pet tools add reach for upholstery and other areas where the main floor head is not the right fit. Buyers often highlight pet-hair pickup and ease of use, including how simply the canister empties.

Worth noting

This is a corded, upright vacuum for indoor cleaning, with one power level and a cartridge filter. It measures 39.2L x 32W x 113H centimetres and weighs 8.32 kg. The wand is listed among the included components, the manufacturer also describes specialized pet attachments for stairs, upholstery and crevices.

Buyer feedback is mixed on weight, swivel steering and value, and some customers raise concerns about durability. These points sit alongside positive comments on cleaning performance and pet-hair pickup, so the most useful fit is a home that can make regular use of its multi-surface floor cleaning and above-floor tools.
