ECOVACS robot vacuum and mop T80

What matters most

The OZMO Roller Mop washes itself as it cleans, turning at 220 RPM while removing dirty water. That gives the T80 a more active approach to mopping than a basic robot that simply drags a damp pad across the floor.

Its 18,000Pa suction is designed to pick up dust, crumbs and pet hair from both hard floors and carpets. TruEdge extends the roller towards walls and furniture legs, while ZeroTangle 3.0 is intended to reduce hair wrapping around the brush.

For mixed flooring, Carpet First vacuums carpets before mopping, helping keep rugs dry. Keep in mind that this is a feature-rich vacuum and mop, so it makes most sense if you’ll use both cleaning functions rather than needing a straightforward vacuum alone.

Care and maintenance

The 10-in-1 OMNI Station handles several recurring jobs: it empties dust, washes the mop with hot water, dries it with hot air and refills water automatically. The dust bag is described as lasting up to 90 days, though actual intervals will depend on how much debris your home produces.

ZeroTangle 3.0 may reduce the need to remove wrapped hair by hand, which is relevant in homes with shedding pets. It doesn’t mean there will never be anything to clear, so occasional checks are still sensible. The station also means there’s more equipment to accommodate than with a robot that charges on a compact dock.

Practical tips

For a home with rugs and hard flooring, Carpet First gives the robot a clear sequence: vacuum the carpeted areas, then mop. You can also set room schedules and adjust cleaning in the ECOVACS HOME app, which includes 3D maps and custom modes. For example, you could schedule regular cleaning for a busy kitchen while leaving less-used rooms for another time.

AIVI 3D 3.0 is designed to detect obstacles such as cables, toys, pets and furniture. That can help it navigate around everyday clutter, but it’s still sensible to pick up loose items before a run rather than relying on obstacle avoidance to handle every situation.

In your case

It suits you if you want one robot for both carpet vacuuming and hard-floor mopping, especially in a home with pets. The self-washing roller, automatic water refilling and dust emptying are aimed at reducing routine hands-on work compared with a simpler robot mop or vacuum.

It may not suit you if you only need one of those jobs, or if you’d rather have a basic device without a larger service station or app-based controls. The product details don’t specify the station’s dimensions, so allow for a dedicated place for it before choosing.
