ESIMFUN 5G China, Hong Kong and Macau SIM Card, 15GB High-Speed Data
Product description
The tri-cut physical SIM card fits Standard, Micro and Nano SIM slots, making it easier to use with a compatible unlocked device while travelling in China, Hong Kong and Macau. It provides 15GB of high-speed 5G/4G LTE data, followed by unlimited data at a reduced speed of 128kbps for the 30-day validity period. No registration is required.
Designed for travel, this prepaid plan supports popular apps and websites including Google, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp without a VPN. It is a data-only service, so calls can be made through data-based apps such as WhatsApp, Line and WeChat rather than through an included phone number.

Best use cases
For a trip that includes China, Hong Kong or Macau, this SIM offers mobile data across the destinations, with a high-speed allowance for everyday browsing, maps, social apps and other online tasks. The continued reduced-speed data service means the connection remains available after the 15GB high-speed allowance is used, throughout the plan’s 30-day validity. Would a single physical SIM be simpler than arranging separate data plans for each stop? This option keeps the setup in one card for the covered destinations.
The tri-cut format lets you choose the size that matches your device’s SIM slot. Insert the SIM into an unlocked device after arriving, then enable data roaming and local data. For a dual-SIM phone, use SIM slot 1 as recommended in the setup guidance. The device should connect automatically after insertion. Google, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and WhatsApp are among the supported services, TikTok and ChatGPT are excluded from the listed app support. Hotspot use is supported, and internet-based calling and messaging apps can provide communication over the data connection.
The plan also has a 180-day standby activation window from the purchase date, so it can be arranged ahead of a trip and activated on arrival. Unlike a plan built around voice minutes or a local phone number, this SIM is centred on mobile data and app-based communication. It suits you if your travel routine relies on online navigation, messaging and social platforms while moving between the covered destinations.
Box contents
The package includes one tri-cut SIM card, a user travel guide and a SIM card ejector pin. The guide supports setup, while the ejector pin helps access the SIM tray when fitting the card. Keep the SIM size that matches the device and insert it before enabling the required data settings for connection.
Final verdict
This ESIMFUN SIM brings 15GB of high-speed data, continued unlimited reduced-speed access and 30-day service together in a physical card for China, Hong Kong and Macau. Its three-size cut and no-registration setup make it a practical fit for travellers using an unlocked device and relying on mobile data and internet-based apps during the trip.
