UGREEN 75990 USB-C and USB Adapter 4-Pack, 10Gbps, 18W Charging

Quick overview

Two adapter directions make it easier to connect devices with different USB ports: this UGREEN 4-pack includes two USB-C male to USB-A female adapters and two USB-A male to USB-C female adapters. Use the right connector for the device and accessory at hand, whether you’re linking a phone, tablet, laptop, charger or storage enclosure.

For data transfer, the adapters support speeds up to 10Gbps when the connected devices support that rate. They also support charging up to 18W/3A, bringing data and charging connections together in a compact, everyday accessory. The housing is aluminium alloy with metal connectors.

Practical tips

Match the adapter’s male connector to the port on your host device, then connect the USB accessory to its female port. The two included adapter types cover opposite connection directions, so the set is more flexible than buying a single adapter style for just one port arrangement.

To reach the stated 10Gbps transfer speed, both connected devices must support 10Gbps, and the cable connected to the adapter must be no longer than 3 ft. If a Type-C connection transfers slowly, the product guidance recommends reversing the Type-C end and reconnecting it. Charging is supported up to 18W/3A, the actual charging setup also depends on the connected devices and charger.

Who it’s for

This set suits people who regularly switch between USB-A and USB-C connections. It can help when connecting a USB-A accessory to a USB-C device, or a USB-C accessory to a USB-A port, including setups involving laptops, tablets, cell phones and chargers. For example, a laptop user could connect a USB-A accessory through the USB-C male adapter, while keeping the other adapter type available for a different device or cable.

The compact format is useful for keeping a few connection options close at hand, whether at a desk or when moving between devices. Buyers often describe the adapters as handy and appreciate their small size, feedback also includes mixed views on connectivity, charging speed and transfer speed. For shoppers choosing between one fixed-direction adapter and a set for varied ports, this pack provides both connection directions.

Is it worth it?

For anyone who needs to move between USB-A and USB-C ports, the main benefit is having both adapter directions together rather than choosing just one.
