Embossed Brass Hinges, 65 mm Plate Length
Product description
A plain hinge can do the job while leaving a wooden chest or cabinet looking unfinished. These embossed brass hinges add a floral detail as well as a way to attach a lid or door.
The set contains six hinges, with golden-coloured screws included. Each hinge has six mounting holes and is fitted using a screwdriver.
The listing describes the hinges as pure brass and anti-rust. There is no load rating or screw sizing given, so they’re best considered for suitable wooden furniture rather than specified for a particular weight or installation.
Key specifications
These are decorative flap hinges with an embossed flower pattern and a retro look. The plate length is 2.6 in (65 mm), the axis length is 3 in (75 mm), and the open width is 1.7 in (43 mm). The set is intended for wooden chests and cabinet doors.
That makes the dimensions useful to check against the surface and movement you have in mind. For example, before fitting one to a small wooden chest, place the hinge where it would sit and consider whether its floral plate suits the furniture and whether the lid can open as needed. The listing gives measurements, but not a load capacity or details about the wood and door thickness these hinges can accommodate.
Who it’s for
These suit a furniture repair or decorative update where visible hardware is part of the look. The embossed flowers make more of a feature than a plain, functional hinge, while the brass finish may complement a vintage-style chest, cabinet, or cupboard. Es buena opción si you want several matching hinges for wooden pieces and prefer decorative hardware to an undecorated alternative.
They are not described for metal furniture, and the available details don’t establish how much weight they can support. Puede no ser la mejor opción si the lid or door is heavy, the mounting surface needs a particular screw size, or you need confirmed load limits before choosing hardware. In those cases, a hinge selected for stated dimensions and capacity is a more suitable direction.
What's included
The pack includes six embossed hinges and golden-coloured mounting screws. Each hinge has six holes for mounting, and installation is described as using a screwdriver. Screw dimensions and any additional installation hardware are not specified, so match the supplied screws to your project before starting rather than assuming they suit every piece of wood.
Buying questions
Are these hinges made for wooden furniture? The listing names wooden chests and cabinet doors as intended uses. It does not give compatibility details for other materials.
What are the hinge dimensions? The plate is 2.6 in (65 mm) long, the axis is 3 in (75 mm), and the open width is 1.7 in (43 mm). Compare these measurements with the space available on your furniture.
Are screws included? Yes. The pack includes golden-coloured screws, but their size is not stated.
Final verdict
Choose this set when you need six matching hinges for wooden furniture and want the hardware itself to contribute a floral, vintage-style detail. The included screws and screwdriver installation make the basic setup clear, but the lack of a stated load rating is important: for a heavy lid or a project with precise hardware requirements, these details aren’t enough to confirm suitability.
