Ｍoodyfei XHY-2601 Solar Wall Lantern with Motion Sensor, 3 Modes, 600 lm

At 17.8 x 16.5 x 33 cm, the black Ｍoodyfei XHY-2601 is a traditional-style outdoor wall lantern made from acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). Its clear panel and downlight design bring a defined fixture look to a porch, garage, yard or front door.

Solar power and motion sensing make it a practical way to add light around an outdoor entrance without running wiring. The light is designed to switch on automatically after dark and brighten when it detects movement. Need steady ambient light as well as a brighter welcome when someone approaches? Its three modes let you choose the lighting behaviour to suit the space.

Wall mounting keeps the fixture in place at an entry, fence or gate, while the solar panel charges in sunlight. The black finish works with a range of exterior styles.

How it fits

Use the XHY-2601 to light an approach, patio or doorway after dark. In motion-activated mode, it can brighten as someone walks into the sensor area, the dim-to-bright mode offers a lower level of light that increases with detected movement. A constant low-light mode provides another option for everyday outdoor illumination. The dusk-to-dawn sensor manages nighttime operation automatically, so the fixture can serve as a welcoming entry light without needing a wired connection.

Compared with a hardwired wall light, this solar lantern offers a simpler route to lighting a spot where you want to mount a fixture without running an electrical connection. Buyers also highlight its appearance, useful brightness for patios and straightforward installation, making its lantern shape part of the exterior as well as a source of light.

Strengths

The integrated LED produces warm white light at 3000 K, with a stated maximum output of 600 lumens. That combination suits everyday outdoor areas where a clear, warm-toned pool of light can help make an entrance easier to navigate. Motion sensing adds a brighter response when movement is detected, while the three modes give you flexibility over how the light behaves.

Its solar-powered design avoids a wired power connection, and wall mounting makes it suitable for locations such as a porch, garage wall, yard, fence or gate. The fixture is listed as waterproof with an IP65 rating, and its powder-coated black finish complements the traditional wall-lantern form. For setup, mount it with the included screws and expansion pillars, then position the panel to receive sunlight.

What to clarify

How do the three lighting modes work? Choose motion-activated lighting, dim-to-bright operation, or constant low light. The motion sensor responds to movement, while the built-in light sensor supports automatic nighttime operation.

Does installation require an electrician? The fixture is solar-powered and wireless. Mount it on a wall, fence or gate using the included screws and expansion pillars, and aim the panel toward the sun.

How much sunlight does it need to charge? The manufacturer recommends about 6–8 hours of direct sunlight for a full charge. The panel should be uncovered and positioned to receive sunlight.

Should you buy it?

Choose the XHY-2601 for an outdoor entrance or patio where you want a traditional lantern look, warm white LED light and motion-responsive brightness in a solar wall fixture. Its three modes, automatic nighttime operation and wall-mounted format make it a useful fit for everyday lighting around a porch, garage, yard or front door.
