zesthome 8' x 10' Abstract Area Rug, Washable Polyester with Non-Slip Backing

For households looking to cover a larger living room or bedroom floor with a soft, washable rug, the zesthome 8' x 10' area rug combines a gray abstract pattern with a stain-resistant polyester surface. Its understated design adds visual interest while fitting easily into a range of room styles.

A soft velvet surface and upgraded TPR non-slip backing make it practical for everyday spaces, including high-traffic areas. The thin, foldable construction also makes this rug convenient to wash and store.

Pros

The gray abstract print brings a modern accent without relying on a bold, busy pattern. That makes it a natural fit for living rooms and bedrooms where you want the rug to complement the rest of the décor. The surface is made from 100% polyester microfiber and has a soft velvet feel, creating a comfortable spot for walking or relaxing on the floor.

For active household spaces, the stain-resistant surface and non-slip backing are useful everyday features. The backing is designed to help the rug stay in place in high-traffic areas. It is also described as non-shedding and OEKO-TEX certified, details that may matter when choosing a rug for a home shared with children or pets.

Key points

This is a rectangular 8' x 10' rug with a 0.24-inch velvet surface. Its generous floor coverage can help define a seating area or add a soft layer beneath bedroom furniture. At 20 pounds, it has a substantial presence for a large-format rug while remaining thin and foldable for handling.

If you are deciding between a rug that needs spot-focused care and one you can put through a wash, this design offers a machine-washable option. The combination of a washable surface, stain resistance, and an abstract gray look is suited to rooms that need both a decorative layer and straightforward routine care.

Care tips

Wash the rug in a washing machine with cold water and do not use bleach. For regular vacuuming, use the lowest power setting and move in one direction, a robot vacuum is another suggested cleaning option. The rug is sensitive to high-powered vacuums, so gentle cleaning helps follow its care guidance.

Some creasing may be visible when the rug first arrives. Lay it flat, gently smooth the folds, and walk over the surface, the creases are expected to disappear over a few days.
