YESKAY 16x16 Picture Frame 3-Pack, Black MDF with 12x12 Mat Option
Product description
The included mats let each YESKAY frame display a 12x12 picture, while removing the mat creates a 16x16 display area. With three matching black frames, you can bring photos, prints, or posters together in a coordinated wall arrangement. Want to keep the layout flexible? Each frame can hang horizontally or vertically.
How it fits
These frames give you two display sizes in one set: use the mat for a 12x12 image, or show a 16x16 piece without it. That flexibility helps when you’re arranging artwork in different formats or refreshing a display with a new print. The rectangular frames measure 16 inches by 16 inches and are designed for wall mounting. Their spring-loaded backs make it straightforward to open the frame, position the artwork, and secure it for display.
A three-piece set also suits a grouped arrangement, such as placing family photos in a row or creating a compact gallery wall with related prints. Compared with choosing frames individually, matching frames make it easier to keep a consistent black border across several pieces.
Where it shines
The matte black finish and modern style work naturally with photo displays, art prints, and posters in a living room, office, gallery, university, or photography studio. Set all three frames in the same orientation for a clean, aligned look, or alternate horizontal and vertical placements to suit the images. For example, a mix of portrait and landscape family photos can share one wall without requiring every picture to use the same orientation.
The frame is made from medium-density fiberboard (MDF), and its front cover is shatter-resistant plexiglass. That combination gives you a framed display without a conventional glass front, while the black finish keeps the focus on the picture. Buyers often praise the frames’ appearance and ease of assembly and hanging. Feedback on material and color varies, and some buyers report scratched or cracked front panels, so handle the cover carefully when setting up the display.
