XoBathti LED Drawing Board, 16-Inch

The 16-inch clear acrylic surface gives kids room to trace or draw, then adds a glow with seven colors and four light modes. That makes this more than a standard dry-erase board: finished doodles can become part of a bedroom display, or be wiped away for another round. The set includes tracing sheets, neon markers, two stands, and hanging hardware, so there are a few ways to use and show it. It’s a screen-free activity for drawing, handwriting practice, or leaving a bright note, though the board needs cleaning between designs.

Getting the most from it

Slide one of the 18 tracing sheets beneath the clear board and let your child follow its pattern with a neon marker. Once the drawing is done, switch on the LEDs and choose among the seven colors and four modes: static, flash, jump, or fade. For a simpler session, skip the template and make a freehand doodle or practice writing a name. When it’s time for a fresh design, the included spray bottle and microfiber cloth are there to clear the surface.

The two stands suit a desk or nightstand, while the included hook and chain provide a hanging option. For example, a child could trace a cartoon before bed, turn on a steady glow, and leave the finished picture on display. If you prioritize an activity that can double as room décor, the lighting and display options add something a plain drawing pad doesn’t, if you prefer a no-setup sketchbook that can travel anywhere, this kit is a more involved choice.

Why it’s worth it

The appeal is the change from making a drawing to seeing it light up. Seven color choices and four effects give kids a way to alter the look without changing the picture, while the tracing sheets offer a starting point when a blank surface feels daunting. The eight neon markers, cleaning supplies, and display pieces also make the set feel ready for a drawing session rather than requiring a separate search for basic accessories.

You’ll appreciate it if your child enjoys tracing, experimenting with colors, or displaying finished art. The clear board can also be used for messages and handwriting practice, so play doesn’t have to mean drawing a new picture every time. The kit is described for children, but the board can also serve for notes or signs in shared spaces.

Worth noting

This is a reusable surface, not a stack of disposable drawing pages: designs need to be wiped off before the next one, so expect a little cleanup as part of using it. The spray bottle and microfiber cloth are included for that job. The listing also includes a power adapter, but doesn’t specify battery operation, so this isn’t described as a cordless drawing toy. Its 16-inch format may suit a desk or bedside table better than a child who wants a compact pad to carry around.

The surface is described as scratch-resistant and made for repeated cleaning, but no further material or durability details are provided. From the way it is set up, it’s best treated as a creative display board and tracing activity rather than a replacement for a larger art station or a conventional sketchbook.

Should you buy it?

It’s not for you if you want a grab-and-go drawing pad, a paper-based art set, or a toy with clearly stated battery-powered use. The LEDs, tracing templates, and included display options are the main reasons to choose this instead of a basic dry-erase board. For a child who likes making pictures and then showing them off, the combination gives drawing time a visible payoff, for someone who mainly wants open-ended sketching without wiping or a power adapter, a simpler pad may be a better fit.
