EighteenTek 2304HB-L Pop-Up Cat Enclosure with 3-Tier Layout and Mesh

Highlights

If you need an enclosed space for a cat that can move between indoor and outdoor settings, the EighteenTek 2304HB-L brings a pop-up design and portable format together. Its square enclosure measures 28.4" x 28.4" x 27". Breathable mesh keeps the space visible and ventilated, while two removable hammocks add comfortable resting spots across its three-tier layout.

The frame has reinforced seams and a sturdy hub structure, and the floor is made from PVC-coated Oxford fabric described as waterproof and easy to clean. A zipper closure secures the enclosure. The hammocks detach for washing, making routine cleanup easier after play or rest. The set includes a carrying case, the cat tent, and two removable hammocks.

How to use it

The enclosure pops open without tools and folds down into its included carrying case, so it can be set up for indoor play or taken along for camping and other outings. Open it on a flat spot, zip the enclosure closed, and arrange the hammocks as resting platforms within the three-level space. When you’re finished, fold it away for storage or transport. The 28.4-inch square footprint is useful for planning where it will sit on a patio, balcony, deck, or in a room.

For upkeep, remove the hammocks for washing and clean the floor as needed. The mesh sides provide visibility and airflow while giving cats a defined place to play, watch their surroundings, or settle down. This format offers a different approach from a fixed cat tower: it combines climbing and resting areas with an enclosure that can be packed away or moved between locations.

Everyday use

At home, use the tent as an indoor playpen or a quiet place to nap. Outdoors, it can create a contained spot on a backyard patio, balcony, or deck, its portable design also suits trips where a familiar place to rest and play is useful. The mesh helps cats see out and lets owners keep an eye on them, while the removable hammocks make the vertical layout more flexible for play and downtime.

Customer feedback often highlights easy setup, portability, and useful everyday function. Opinions vary on the size: some find it suitable for one cat, while others consider it small. Feedback on the zipper is also mixed, with some buyers reporting zipper problems. The listed dimensions offer a practical reference when deciding how the enclosure will fit your cat and available space.

Buying verdict

Choose the 2304HB-L if you want more than a simple soft-sided pen: its three-tier layout and pair of washable, removable hammocks give cats places to climb and rest, while the pop-up construction and carrying case support use at home or on the go. It makes sense if a portable enclosure for indoor play, patio time, or camping fits your routine and you want visibility through breathable mesh along with a floor that is easy to clean.
