How to use it
This anniversary edition is suited to listeners who want to revisit the original album and have additional session material in the same collection. The remastered album provides the central listening experience, while the two extra discs add unreleased bonus tracks and unedited mixes. That expanded format makes it a more comprehensive choice for fans than an edition focused on the album alone.
It also works well for a focused album listen: put on the original record to hear tracks such as “Low Rider” and the title song together, then explore the bonus material as a companion to the album. The set’s three-disc format keeps the original release and additional recordings grouped in one physical collection.
Usage tips
For a first listen, start with the remastered original album, then move to the extra discs to hear the session material and unedited mixes. This approach keeps the familiar album at the center while making it easy to explore the additional recordings afterward. If you’re adding it to a music collection, its 50th anniversary edition and expanded contents distinguish it from a basic album-only copy.
The release is especially relevant to listeners drawn to WAR’s best-known songs and to fans interested in hearing more than the original album presentation. Its compact Audio CD format also suits a physical music library or a dedicated album-listening session.
