Love's cabin 24-Inch Faux-Fur Donut Cat Bed with Raised Rim

A raised, nest-like rim gives cats and small dogs a place to curl up with head and neck support, while the plush faux-fur surface adds warmth. This 24-inch round Love's cabin bed also has a non-skid bottom, so it is designed to stay put on smooth floors.

The bed is machine washable as a complete piece, which keeps care straightforward. Its listed maximum weight recommendation is 25 pounds, pet preferences can vary, and some buyers say their cats did not take to it.

On-body feel

The round shape and raised sides create a more enclosed resting spot than a flat mat. The rim is filled with a down-alternative material, and the faux-fur cover has a soft, shaggy texture. That setup may appeal to pets that like to curl into a nest or rest their head against a raised edge. A pet that prefers an open, flat surface may be more comfortable with a simpler mat instead.

Buyer feedback often highlights the cozy feel and sense of security, with some describing pets settling into the bed readily. That response is not universal: some buyers report their cats avoided it. The 24-inch size also gets mixed reactions, so the stated size and weight recommendation are useful starting points, not a guarantee that a particular pet will use it.

Why it makes sense

The practical draw is the combination of a cushioned, enclosed shape and easy-care construction. Unlike a basic pad, this bed offers a raised rim for pets that like to curl up against a boundary. The non-skid bottom is intended to help limit sliding on smooth surfaces, and the whole bed can go in the washing machine on a gentle cycle. The care directions say to use cold water and tumble dry on low heat, avoid bleach.

Worth considering if your cat or small dog tends to curl up and you want a washable bed with a raised edge. It may not suit you if your pet consistently chooses open bedding or is above the listed 25-pound maximum recommendation. Buyers also differ on whether the 24-inch size feels right, which makes measuring the resting area a sensible part of choosing.

Buying verdict

Choose this Love's cabin bed if you want a washable, round resting spot with a raised rim and your pet fits the stated size recommendation. Its defining difference from a flat pad is the more enclosed, cushioned shape, that can suit a pet that likes to curl up, but the mixed feedback on acceptance means the design is not a sure fit for every cat.
