VKIMISS W1 Cordless Cat Water Fountain, 3.2L, Motion Sensor, Stainless Steel Tray

Tips for day-to-day use

Set the VKIMISS W1 in an indoor spot where your cat or other pet can reach it comfortably. Its cordless design gives you more placement flexibility than a fountain that needs to sit beside an outlet. Choose sensor, timed, or continuous flow to suit your pet’s routine. The 3.2L reservoir helps keep water available between refills.

For daily care, the fountain’s circulating water passes through a layered filtration system with a carbon filter and a sponge filter. The stainless steel drinking tray pairs with a polypropylene reservoir, and the detachable pump can be removed to clean inside the unit. Remove the battery before cleaning, the battery module is not waterproof. For homes with more than one pet, the fountain is listed for cats, dogs, and small animals, so it can serve as a shared indoor water station.

Why it’s worth it

The W1 brings together cordless placement, selectable flow, and circulating filtration in one indoor fountain. A motion-sensor mode offers water flow when a pet approaches, while timed and continuous settings provide alternatives for different household routines. Its rechargeable battery means the fountain does not need to stay beside a power outlet while in use, the stated runtime is up to 45 days in timer mode on a full charge.

The removable pump and detachable design make the reservoir and interior more accessible during cleaning. The stainless steel tray gives pets a metal drinking surface, while the included carbon and sponge filters are part of the circulating filtration setup. Compared with a plug-in fountain that must be positioned around its cord, this cordless format is useful when you want more freedom to choose a spot in the room.

Buyers often praise how easy the fountain is to set up and clean, its quiet operation, and their pets’ interest in using it. Feedback on durability and water flow is mixed, so these points are worth keeping in mind when choosing a fountain for your home.
