vensovo aluminet 85% Reflective Shade Cloth, 6 x 12 ft HDPE with Grommets

The 6 x 12 ft vensovo aluminet shade cloth is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and has an 85% shade rating. Its reflective design helps redirect some of the sun’s heat, creating a shaded area for outdoor spaces and equipment.

Grommets give you points for securing the cloth, and its lightweight construction makes it practical to carry and set up for outdoor use. Choose this size to cover a patio area, shelter a kennel, or shade a parked vehicle.

Use it for everyday outdoor shade or bring it along for camping and RV trips. Its reflective coverage is designed to help reduce direct sun and heat exposure.

How to use it

Secure the cloth through its grommets using a tie-style mounting approach, then position it over the area or item you want shaded. For example, it can be placed over a kennel to create a shaded outdoor resting spot for a dog, or set up above a parked vehicle to help shield it from direct sunlight. The 6 x 12 ft format offers a defined area of coverage for patios, pergolas, greenhouses, and other outdoor settings.

The HDPE material is lightweight and described as UV resistant and waterproof, making the cloth suited to outdoor shade applications. Its reflective surface helps send some of the sun’s heat away rather than simply providing a conventional shade screen. Position it to cover the space that needs protection, and use the grommets to attach it securely to your chosen setup.

Where it shines

This cloth is useful wherever direct sun makes an outdoor area harder to use. Over a patio or pergola, it creates shade for relaxing or spending time outside. Around a kennel, it helps provide a more sheltered place for pets while they are outdoors. At a campsite or RV stop, it can be used to shade people, gear, or a parked vehicle. It is also suited to greenhouses, carports, open-air parking areas, and horse shelters.

Buyers often highlight its cooling effect and sun protection, including use around vehicles and outdoor work areas. Feedback on material quality is mixed: some describe it as well made, while others consider it inexpensive-feeling. The practical distinction from a basic shade screen is its reflective aluminet construction, which is intended to reflect some solar heat as well as create shade.
