vensovo 70% Reflective Aluminet Shade Cloth, 6 x 10 ft, with Grommets

Some outdoor spaces need substantial sun coverage while still benefiting from moving air. Others need a flexible shade layer for a vehicle, greenhouse, or patio. This vensovo cloth is designed to provide both shade and airflow.

Its 70% shade coverage, reflective aluminum coating, and 6 x 10 ft size make it useful across a range of outdoor setups. Grommets provide attachment points for hanging the cloth where shade is needed.

Could a single shade cloth serve more than one outdoor area? Its applications include patios, pergolas, greenhouses, kennels, RVs, vehicles, and other outdoor spaces.

What to know

The 70% shade coverage is intended to reduce direct sun while allowing light and air to pass through. That balance can be useful in a greenhouse or garden, where some sunlight is still needed, and in occupied outdoor areas where ventilation matters. The reflective coating helps reflect sunlight and UV rays, while the breathable design allows airflow rather than creating a fully enclosed cover.

Made from polyester with an aluminum coating, the cloth is water-resistant and suited to outdoor shade applications. Its 6 x 10 ft format offers a defined coverage area for a patio section, a kennel, or part of a vehicle. Grommets give you points to use when securing or hanging it, position the cloth to cover the area that needs shade while keeping airflow in mind.

Buyers commonly describe the cloth as effective for blocking sun, and some mention using it over dog runs, vehicles, and outdoor setups. Feedback about construction is mixed, with some finding it well made and others describing it as less robust. These impressions can help set expectations when choosing a shade cloth for a particular installation.

Who it’s for

This is a practical format for people looking to add shade without fully blocking airflow. Use it over a greenhouse or garden area when you want sun reduction alongside ventilation, or hang it over a kennel to create a shaded outdoor space. For a vehicle, RV, pergola, or patio, the reflective surface and 70% coverage offer a dedicated layer between the sun and the area beneath it. A solid pick if you want one versatile shade cloth for different outdoor settings.

Getting the most from it

Start by identifying the area you want to shade, then orient the 6 x 10 ft cloth so its coverage is useful for that spot. Use the grommets as attachment points and secure the cloth appropriately for your setup. In a greenhouse or garden, place it where it can provide shade while preserving the airflow and light plants need. Over a kennel or seating area, position it to create a shaded zone without enclosing the space. For vehicles and RVs, use it as an overhead shade layer. The 70% coverage makes this a middle-ground choice for shoppers who want meaningful sun reduction while retaining ventilation, rather than a fully opaque cover.

Practical questions

What does 70% shade coverage mean for use? It indicates the cloth is intended to provide substantial sun reduction while still allowing some light through. That makes it relevant to spaces such as gardens and greenhouses where maintaining airflow and some light is useful.

Can it be used over a kennel or vehicle? Yes. Kennels and vehicles are among the listed applications, along with RVs, patios, pergolas, greenhouses, and other outdoor spaces.

How can it be attached? The cloth has grommets that serve as attachment points for hanging or securing it. Choose an arrangement suited to the area you want to shade.
