Utopia Bedding UB2452 Queen Quilted Mattress Pad, 16-Inch Deep Pocket

Sized at 60 by 80 inches, this black Queen mattress pad adds a soft, quilted layer to your bed. Its polyester microfiber cover has fiberfill for added loft, while the fitted design is made for mattresses up to 16 inches deep. Want a comfortable layer that’s easy to care for? The pad is machine washable for routine upkeep.

The essentials

The quilted surface gives your mattress a softer feel, and the breathable fabric makes this a practical choice for everyday bedding at home or in a hotel room. Elastic around the entire edge helps hold the pad in position, while the fitted pull-on style makes it straightforward to place over a Queen mattress. Its black color offers a simple alternative to a white mattress layer.

This pad is designed for comfort and mattress coverage rather than spill protection: it is not water resistant. If liquid protection is part of your bedding setup, the manufacturer recommends using a separate waterproof cover. That makes the choice clear: select this pad to add a soft, washable quilted layer, or choose a waterproof cover when guarding against spills is the main priority.

Buyers often praise the soft feel, comfort, appearance, and fit. Feedback is more mixed on thickness and durability, with some appreciating the padding while others prefer a thicker feel or mention seam issues. These perspectives can help set expectations when choosing a comfort layer for your bed.

Quick sizing guide

The Queen pad measures 60 by 80 inches and fits mattresses up to 16 inches deep. Match those dimensions to your mattress before purchasing, particularly if you use a deeper mattress. The elastic edge runs all the way around, helping the fitted cover stay in place during normal bed use. Its Queen format suits a standard Queen mattress setup without adding a separate topper-style layer to manage.

For care, machine wash the pad and tumble dry with no heat, do not use bleach. This simple care routine makes it suitable for bedding that needs regular laundering. Follow the care directions to keep the quilted cover ready for use between washes.

Who it’s for

This mattress pad is for anyone looking to add a soft surface layer to a Queen bed while keeping the bedding easy to maintain. It can work well in a primary bedroom, guest room, or hotel setting where a fitted, washable cover is useful. The breathable polyester fabric and quilted fiberfill make it a comfortable everyday layer, while the all-around elastic helps keep the setup neat on mattresses up to 16 inches deep.

A solid pick if your priority is a soft, fitted mattress pad rather than a waterproof barrier. It can also suit shoppers refreshing their bedding with a black cover that combines a quilted finish with machine-washable care.
