TOWOND 100-Inch Portable Projector Screen with Stand, 16:9 Black Backing
Product description
A fixed screen can make sense when movie viewing stays in one room, this TOWOND screen is built for people who want to move their setup between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Its 100-inch, 16:9 projection surface has a black backing and a folding tripod stand. The polyester screen packs into the included carry bag for storage or transport.
For a backyard movie night, a sports watch party, or a presentation away from a permanent setup, it offers a portable alternative to a screen that stays mounted in place.
Usage tips
The tripod opens without tools, and the detachable crossbar is designed for straightforward assembly. Set the screen up where the projector can face it, then use the included grounding spikes, windproof ropes, and sandbags when setting up outdoors. Those accessories are intended to help with stability, but buyer feedback is mixed: some say the screen stays steady, while others report that it can tip or needs anchoring. How much setup flexibility do you need? That tradeoff is worth considering if the screen will be used outside regularly.
The fabric is described as foldable, washable, and resistant to creasing, making pack-away storage part of the design. It is listed as weighing 9.03 pounds, and the carry bag gives you a way to keep the components together between uses. Avoid assuming that portability alone makes it suitable for every outdoor location, placement and anchoring still matter.
Strengths
The opaque black backing is intended to reduce light coming through from behind the screen, while the stated 160° viewing angle gives a group more room to watch from different positions in front of it. The polyester surface is specified as 16:9, a familiar widescreen format for movies and sports. The screen is also described as washable, which may be useful after repeated use or storage.
Buyer feedback commonly highlights quick assembly, portability, and clear-looking pictures, with some people mentioning use for both movies and 3D content. Outdoor movie nights are another reported use. These are customer impressions, not a guarantee of picture results: the outcome will also depend on the projector and viewing conditions. Opinions on the stand’s sturdiness are divided, so the included anchoring pieces are especially relevant for outdoor setups.
It’s a great fit if you want one screen for occasional backyard viewing, gatherings, or presentations and need to pack it away afterward. It may not suit you if you need a permanently installed screen or require consistently dependable freestanding stability without anchoring.

Buying verdict
Choose this TOWOND screen if you value a foldable, bag-carrying setup for both home use and occasional outdoor viewing, and the tripod format suits your space. Compared with a basic screen intended to stay in one room, its stand and carry bag make moving it between locations more practical. The main consideration is stability: customer opinions differ, and the provided stakes, ropes, and sandbags are useful parts of the outdoor setup rather than details to overlook. If you need a screen that stays installed in one spot, a fixed mounting approach may be a better match.
