YIKTI Vintage Hummingbird Stove Top Cover, 28 x 20 Inch, Heat-Resistant
Product description
A stove cover can serve two different needs: protecting an unused glass or ceramic cooktop from everyday dust and spills, or adding a mat to a counter that gets regular kitchen use. This YIKTI cover is designed to do both, with a vintage hummingbird print and a 28 x 20-inch footprint.
For a kitchen where counter space also handles dishes, produce, or coffee supplies, its flexible format offers more than a decorative cover. It can also be used as a drying mat or on other surfaces such as a washer-dryer top.
You’ll appreciate it if you want one washable mat for several household surfaces. The main caution is practical: it is not meant to sit over active cookware, and the listing warns against covering induction cooktops that exceed 450°F.

Practical tips
Use it as a cover for an electric glass or ceramic stovetop when the surface is not in use, or lay it on a counter to catch drips from dishes, glasses, fruits, or vegetables. The 28 x 20-inch size also suits a coffee bar, pet-feeding area, tool surface, plant pots, or the top of a washer or dryer. These alternate uses make it more versatile than a cover bought solely for the stove, though the intended surface and task will determine whether the dimensions work for your setup.
For cleanup, wipe away spills or water droplets, or rinse the mat under water for a deeper clean. Its flexible construction can be folded or rolled for storage, the included hooks provide another way to hang it. Do not place it on active cookware. Although the material is described as heat resistant up to 400°F (200°C), the listing specifically cautions against covering induction cooktops above 450°F, so that warning should guide use around induction equipment.

Practical questions
Can it be used as a dish-drying mat? Yes. It can sit on a countertop to catch drips from bowls, glasses, fruits, and vegetables.
How do you clean it? Wipe it down for spills or water droplets, or rinse it under water for a deeper clean.
Can it cover an induction cooktop? The listing warns not to cover induction cooktops that exceed 450°F. It also says not to place the mat on active cookware.
Is it worth it?
This cover makes the most sense if you want a patterned mat that can move between an electric stovetop, counter, and other listed household surfaces. Its washable, flexible format and two hooks support different cleanup and storage routines, while the 28 x 20-inch size gives a defined area to plan around. Compared with a basic, single-purpose cooktop cover, the extra drying-mat and countertop uses may be useful if you expect to switch tasks. Not the best choice if you need a cover for active cookware or for an induction cooktop above the stated threshold. If your priority is a specific fit, compare the listed dimensions with the surface you plan to cover.
